James, I'll turn the reins over to Karen in my absence. She seems quite capable (even if she can't load pics, lol!). Now if it was both you and Scott, I might worry about her holding her own. But since it's just you (and maybe @wampidy), I think I can trust her to run circles around you, and lead the threads waaaaay off topic. Karen, I'm counting on you. I'll have to handle Scott by myself (no contest!). There's five people there now (Scott, barclay, Tommy and Eva, and newcomer David). I understand it's supposed to get windy, so they moved a bit to the southeast, in the lee of a hill for some protection. I hate wind when tent camping!! I hope the fire is still going and I can find them okay. Almost full moon should help shed some light on it. I'm afraid they're all going to go to bed before I get there. Well, I can fix that, lol! Probably will take me at least half an hour to get the tent up and get set up. I'll try my darndest not to make too much noise. This was SO wrong!! You can't leave me in charge without telling me! I could have had so much fun but I'm rarely online on the weekends and only just caught this. How long are you all gone? I'll be logged in from work as usual tomorrow and can definitely lead the guys astray! I have a battery powered pump for an airbed that sounds like an old rickety prop plane taking off - I could have loaned it to you Sorry about that, Karen! I guess I just don't what you're normal schedule is. Well, it looks like everyone survived without us for a couple days. I think an air mattress is in order for the next tent event. I gave up the cot to Bob, and he complained about how hard it was. I slept on the lounge chair that the dogs all used to lay on at the fire when we'd go to the desert. First night I kept sliding downhill. Second night, I was fortified and feeling no pain at all! Can you say inebriated? (I know James likes that word, lol!) Woke up/got up at 5:30 am, and started coffee. No hangover. Worried for Bob, not for Jean. Jean can take care of business. To quote Lynyrd Skynyrd, "You got that right!" I didn't realize that Bob had taken some pics with his cell phone. I'll also take some pics of the haul, and post later today.

Sorry guys - I'm usually on line during the week but weekends belong to my husband. He's going through a radical chemo/radiation regimen right now and stays at the hospital all week but he gets to come home on weekends. I was only online yesterday for a few minutes trying to find recipes that he could tolorate. Too bad - I could have really used the stress relief! Beating up on not so helpless men is way better than watching superman shrivel up from the kryptonite (chemo)

Can't wait to see the pics from your trip! Would have liked to go just to party with Jean & Scott. Rocks would have been a bonus!

He's strong (stubborn) I have no doubt that he will pull through - I'm the one that's losing it! You guys have helped keep me sane - sort of - or at least something that resembles it.

Say what? After I beat helpless you up? It was my understanding that you enjoy it.
Karen, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband. I'll try my best to keep you our kind of "sane" - lol!
