Good luck and stay safe if your riding that out. Not much better up here, preparing for snow wed and thur. Last Updated Tuesday, September 11, 2018 10:31AM EDT The northeastern corner of British Columbia and central Alberta are preparing to jump straight from summer into winter-like weather with Environment Canada issuing snowfall warnings and special weather statements for the areas. Meteorologists say a cold front will drop southward out of the Northwest Territories bringing unseasonably cold temperatures to regions within both provinces. Snowfall warnings are posted for B.C.'s South Peace Region and along Highway 97 with up to 10 centimeters expected. Special weather statements have extend across Alberta from Grande Prairie east to Cold Lake, covering Edmonton and nearly as far south as Banff. The weather office says snowfall will vary widely from as little as four centimeters near Fort Nelson to as much as 15 heavy, wet centimeters over Grande Prairie and Jasper

As yall know I am a rubber tire tramp. My travel trailer has s great solar system, watch TV, drip coffee, microwave etc so if power goes I will not be bad off. The solar batteries can't run the AC but I have a small generator. It's hot and humid here!!!

Yes I am hopefully far enough inland that flooding and fallen trees wll be the problem. I cant flood, top of a hill and trees blocking the roads won't bother me nor will loss of electricity. Mayhap I can help some folks after. My church gears up for theses things. We are a very small church but we swing a mighty sword!!! LOL

Virginia Beach is still nuts. Right now we look pretty good, but people are panicking. No gas to be found, no water, no canned goods, a five hour back up to Richmond (already), empty stores.
eta- My grandkids just left to go to my daughter's. Me and DH will probably stay where we are. We are in a flood zone with lots of trees, but I've been through some bad storms here and it doesn't look like we'll get much.... right now, at least.

Got parents out of Myrtle Beach and back here in central texas. They still didnt want to leave however when we showed up, they finally came around. First day was right at 16 hours of driving, today was 8. No fun, but we're back safe and sound.
