I posted this rock a long time ago, and I finally started cutting it. The first two pictures show where it began and the third is where I'm at now. I guess what I'm looking for is advice on how to get both Teepees out- if possible. Thanks in advance!

That looks like a pretty chunky piece. Is it possible to split it into 2 slabs and get the best of both worlds?

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."

Just sayin, that looks like both areas exposed are going to run together under the crust that isn't removed as yet ! You might remove a little in between and see where it leads !

When I get into something like this, I usually set the rock by my chair in the house and eye ball it everyday. A solution will come to you pretty fast than.. Good luck Mike!

Thanks... Hopefully I'll get time to deal with it today. Might get 2, 1, 0...or maybe more cabbable pieces... 😁

Made some progress so I thought I'd post an update. If you get bored, change the channel... 😀
stardiamond was right. I found more. Not sure where I'm going with the last piece yet, however. Here's one of the ones I was trying to get. It fractured but I've cabbed smaller.
And here are the surprises that I found...
And this is what I have left. Still deciding.

That decent-sized chunk you have left . . . might look good if you polish the three adjacent sawn surfaces and end up with a nice paperweight/objet d’art/doodad for your desk . . . or a shelf in the back of the workshop. : )
Consider the Earth’s history as the old measure of the English yard, the distance from the King’s nose to the tip of his outstretched hand. One stroke of a nail file on his middle finger erases human history.

I like the way you think...

I decided to go ahead and cut it some more since I'm not really into specimens. I like to cab and wrap. 😁 I got the other one out that I was going for, it's a weird shape right now but I'll get it. Here's a pic of it plus another slab that I worked last night. I'll post a picture of it in a bit. As always, thanks for looking.

rocknrob: That was one heck of a windstorm that thankfully missed me. I guess Seatac almost hit 60mph gusts. I bet those were some fun landings
