Two items here - a Frantom 10" trim saw SOLD and a Frantom 24" slab saw. Feel free to make offers on the 24".
Offers will be held for presentation to an older friend who is preparing to move into an assisted living facility.
PS - the Frantom 24" is now available for $3000 (now $2400 firm - she finally realized her price really was high). Local pickup only on this beast... .
ETA - This 24" has a deposit on it. I'm pretty sure the prospective buyer will be here to pick it up as scheduled...!!! YEP - HE SHOWED UP!!!

Bumping this up because the owner's home will be going on the market next year.
We offered to store these until they sell to save them from going for nothing - with an outrageous commission - if sold by the estate sale company.

Where are the saws located? They are in the Prescott AZ area, well worth a road trip.

Thanks, Rockoonz. I'm just getting on here for the first time after getting home from the day job.
DirtCleaner - On behalf of our elderly friend, thank you for asking about these saws. All the proceeds go to her - we're just trying to help her sell them. I see it would be quite the road trip for you, so unless you're planning a "Vegas vacation" I guess it might be a bit much.
Thanks again.

OK - Robin had our club newsletter person put these saws out in an email. The 10" Frantom was listed there for $600 for people in the club.
Now that club members were given a chance to see it first, it has been reduced here as well.

Yep - it's time to throw something against the wall if you'd like to come to the Prescott, AZ area to pick up this 24" Frantom.
There is also a 36" "saw" that consists of a nearly new blade from DP, arbor, vise and carriage, motor, and oil pump - on a fixed base. Basically parts. There is also an additional 36" blade the owner said "would not cut straight", so they pulled it and bought the better blade from DP.

vwfence - Thanks for asking. Just to be clear, the 36" is not a free-standing self contained saw. It's an arbor and carriage bolted to angle and channel iron anchored to the concrete floor of a small metal shed. It has a sheet-metal "sump" attached to the steel frame. A real monstrosity, but the blade and parts are good.
We think she might take $1000 for the "parts" - but we won't know for sure until an offer is presented to her.

vwfence I'm pretty close to them. If you decide you want it and you need a hand with pulling it and packing it I could probably drive up there. I just got 2 more saws that I don't really have space for, or I would consider for a project. If you're out I can also contact Matt and see if he wants it for the blade(s).

hummingbirdstones is trying to see if any pictures are available on the 36 I'll actually go and take the pictures of the saw. I'm going to be listing her house for sale, and she is in assisted living. If it warms up a bit this morning, I may go take them today. It's only 22 here right now. If it gets above freezing, my fingers may work.

It's supposed to be warmer tomorrow, so I will get them then. I don't have any appointments, either.
