www.slightlyshadyseo.com/index.php/googles-user-data-empire/I read a report that the CEO recently said they wanted to do things but things that didnt cross over the creepy line. He then went onto say that they could implant chips in people and then know who we were, where we are, where we went, etc etc etc. If thats not creepy - I dont know what is. The sad part is - that if they did put an offer out for people to come forward for the implant - there are so many saddos out there that there would probably be millions of volunteers. G = Gross for me. I think they are gross - thats me being polite. What do others think of them these days?

Don you needn't worry - the part of the quote I was interested in was this bit - as you have probably gathered.
"The world as it is"
I am coming from the angle that I know to be true - I am not a conspiracy theorist.
I dont vote - I have voted once when I was 18 or so. I learned from the mistake.
If I vote over here - whoever I vote for would be a ....... well - its not right I put things like that on RTH. The list is long - and history comes to mind - what was that freak called - oh yes - Joseph Goebbels and you probably know what I mean.
As I say - whos better off - the blind or the ones who see?

Don, You've got to get a grip on reality...and the facts...It is not very hard to do...the world as it is..not as you want it to be... Charlie Ive just got to say this is very profound and true. One has to accept that big business s**t on us, politicians s**t on us. They lie, cheat, kill, destroy for their own gain. Its taken me 41 years to understand this in all its filthy glory - on the learning curve I often settled for my own disbelief in what goes on - "surely they cant do that?" - would be my attitude. Unfortunately - I was wrong - they all stink. Their smiles hide the truth of their thoughts. Sometimes (but not often) I wonder whether its better to be blind and happy - than to know these things and be angry and helpless. Just my thoughts - its pretty much just as dog s**tty over here guys. Mark

History Mystery
Have a history teacher explain this----- if they can. Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846. John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860. John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights. Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday. Both Presidents were shot in the head
Now it gets really weird.
Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy. Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln .
Both were assassinated by Southerners. Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808. Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908. John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names. Both names are composed of fifteen letters.
Now hang on to your seat.
Lincoln was shot at the theater named 'Ford'. Kennedy was shot in a car called ' Lincoln ' made by 'Ford'.
Lincoln was shot in a theater and his assassin ran and hid in a warehouse. Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a theater.
Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials. WHO FIGURED THIS OUT?

I get the feeling that this sort of disaster is going to become more frequent as time passes and the squabble for the bottom of the barrel gets more intense. In 40 years time the planet is going to be in a mess. Well - civilisation will be in a mess. Seeing the BP boss on telly reminded me of the scene in the film "On Deadly Ground" where Micheal Caine is doing a tv advert for his oil drilling platform. Hes acting all nice and standing with a reigndeer - then when the cameras go off him - he lets loose saying the animal stinks etc. etc. Strange how its all ending up - id never have predicted all this mess reading the bible when I was a kid. :/

Cheers all - 41 and not feeling a day older than 19. I had a Sunday roast on a Wednesday to celebrate the dubious occasion. Apart from that - running wild with the boys made it a pretty normal day by most measures. Cheers Again

All, a member has lost a load of old PMs after backing up with the website.
Ive read that proboards are aware of issues here and I was wondering if anyone else has backed up PMs and had problems losing the messages?
Or - can anyone tell me that the system has worked for them?
Ive put this in here so many people can read it.
Cheers Mark

All,
Ive tried to help out in a basic kind of way, but one of our members is having trouble logging in and posting. Heres what he says :-
"when I log on it does show at the bottom of the page that I am online, however I cannot post anything or join in. It still reads at the top of the page "Welcome Guest""
Ive asked him to clear cookies - no avail. I can log in with his username and password and make posts no problem - so its his PC which seems to be at fault.
Any Ideas anynoe? I am at a loss with this one - he even tried setting up a fresh account but the problem remains with that account aswell.
Cheers Mark

Guys - I know loads of you post big time aswell. I know. But can we please give John Sands a round of applause for his way off the scale 10 Thousand posts. I'm thanking Sands for just being here over the last few years and to be honest he humbles me with his knowledge on more than just rocks - even though he doesnt say much - well not to me anyway - he doesnt have to. John - thanks for being here and please stay for at least another 10,000 posts. Mark - (I kept modifying this post until I thought it "right".) Cheers Sands.
