Thanks for the links! Yep, I googled too, and couldn't find anything, so I knew I could count on you guys! Looks like just a filed heavy gauge wire, filed and smoothed with a loop to catch it! Yes, It would have to be careful to make sure it wouldn't snag every where on a knitted item!! I'll be trying that soon and I'll post (front and back) if I come up with anything! I'm also thinking...I wonder if the wire used would be an issue? Should it be copper rather than Sterling, as the sterling might not take the repeated opening and closing? Brainstorm! Maybe a pinback for those round buttons! Hmmmm....

Anybody do one? I'm a big knitter ( what I've been doing lately, rather than rocks and wrapping  ) and I'm not sure how to go about doing this with wire wrapping.
Any advice, tips, sites that I could check out?
Thanks, RTH'rs!!

Got the box! Pretty darned packed, and plastics are breaking! I chose a few things, and will put in a couple of basket wrapped pendants and cabs I made from rainforest jasper, Challis (?) from Catmandewe, chrysocolla from Jamie and Rodney, and so on! I'll get it shipped tomorrow afternoon!

Puppie, that was AWESOME!! Very graceful, and fluid, and your nerves didn't show at all! I skated when I was a youngster, and I never had the guts to leave the ice and jump, or eve managed a spin! That ice is cold and hard, and also as one of the more 'senior' members, I think it totally rocks that you're doing it now! I am so impressed.

Very elegant! I like the wrap on the last one, it's a very dramatic piece!

I have no idea what a BFH is, but it's the size of a small burro in my mind! Naw, it's a marker now! 'STOP' Pretty rocks here! I would LOVE a quad and a trailer to put it on! Rodney and Jamie totally hooked me on how much fun those are!! Won't be for a while though. First for me is a 15" Covington, and a place set up here to put my saws and stuff! Too many wants... Mel, nothing beats walking around looking for treasure in the desert as a date!! Be still my heart! I'm quite fond of both hunks, Karen! And Tony, I hope Bejewelme is available for consultations, lol!

Tony is a truly generous soul! He sent me this jade cab, along with more jade to play with! I wrapped it in 14K gold filled and a touch of sterling. This is a small ocho cab I cut, wrapped in sterling. ~ close-up of the stone MAN, I love those ocho geodes!! (I swear, I only started seeing them on Silverhawk's site after I had a number of ocho cabs selling on ebay as the same time as him years ago! lol!)

You said it right there, bejewelme! The threads of friendship, or maybe just the wonderful talent and skills of Connrock and Tony make it shine!!! The pinks are so deep on it! I can't see a fault with the silverwork at ALL Connrock! What a perfect surprise and Christmas gift!!
