I'm still in rock overload right now Tela. Have no idea what is what. I'll make time to figure that stuff out later.

Dino Bone Just group shots, it's not all that impressive to look at as is. Some quality pieces here, but to display them will take face cutting and polishing. Guessing I picked up 60-70 pounds of this stuff. A new area for my collection.

What sized vibrating lap you looking for Ann? I have Raytech Hustler 10" and 15" machines available. Shipping might be kinda pricey on them though. Heavy. I've never checked. Figured to sell 'em local on Craigslist to avoid having to ship.

I was thinking limb cast as well Mel, but that was just a guess. He has a limb cast from Texas Springs that is like over a foot long and about 4 inches across. Just a knock your socks off piece. Wants 500 bucks for it. Expensive, but I've never seen anything like it and may never find another one. May pick it up when I go back just to have it in my collection. It is the rare & no one else has one kinda pieces that interest me and elevate a collection. Anyone can have "common" rocks, but closed locations and "oh my God" pieces are what I consider worth the $$.
Wait until I get around to taking pictures of the pieces I picked up over there from Wamsutter, Wy. Truly OMG stuff!

Very little time for dealing with these rocks today, busy getting in trouble elsewhere. But I did take pictures of ONE rock. whoop-de-doo huh? Anyway, this one has me stumped. The seller was a bit foggy on the what and where as well. Can't really blame him, he has a LOT of rocks to remember. What he thinks he recalls is a location, and even that isn't 100%. But pretty sure. Wiggins Fork (that is a river) a bit north of Dubois Wyoming. Google says that is in the Shoshone National Forest. Anyway... any one have some thoughts on this? Green moss in translucent agate. Moss goes through the entire 15-20 pound rock. Some quartz with a lone calcite tooth at the other end? moss at the quartz vug end you can see the moss through out the rock - side shot it's a big 'un! Moss has a bit of a Horse Canyon look to it, but he was never there. Heck of a chunk of rock no matter. Hope to get more pics tomorrow. Sorry it's taking awhile to get to these, but I warned ya that it would!

Everything put away as if today never even happened. As long as she doesn't go through the trash can. yeah right, I know that's not gonna happen!
Not new to the wimmins are from Venus, guys are from Mars game. I certainly won't say "Look, I bought you a microwave!". She said she wanted a new one so I got one. I'm quite sure she has been expecting me to take care of that. So I did. - won't matter, I still won't get any!

alrighty... you know the back story from above. So I go to see the items for sale this morning, and meet a nice old gentleman at the house. This was not his equipment. Maybe a brother or uncle that had passed away, I don't remember, and it's just taking up space to him. I QUICKLY look everything over (ad in magazine didn't quite cover all that was there!) and say to him that I have one problem. That he has under priced the lot. He knew, but wanted it gone. I told him I would be happy to take it, but I would pay $500 instead of 400. He was happy and I still stole all this crap. win win 8" Lortone arbor thing Dual 6 lb Lortone tumbler with 3 extra barrels (ad said 3 lb tumbler) 6" Star Diamond grinder/polisher with 6" saw and new boxed blade. Should clean up nicely. 10" Raytech Hustler vibrating lap 10" Raytech autofeed saw - will clean up. with uncracked hood (hoods are usually cracked) needs washin' brandy new 14" saw blade - will fit on my BD HP-14 saw (thank you very much!) Sears (Scott-Murry knockoff) 6 lb tumbler , a 10" SiC wheel (?) and some kinda felt wheel (?) The lot - There were also boxes and buckets of rocks and misc items that I haven't even gone through yet, and a bunch of old lapidary magazines. Now I gotta go find room for everything! oh... the microwave best set that up before the wife unit returns home. wonder what them Dysons cost ...

Advice from a woman-no appliances. Unless she has a fetish for appliances. Recommend Flowers, a ring, and date to a really nice restaurant that she loves. Aye, was taught that from momma when I was much younger. I learnz gud! Thing is, she had asked for a microwave before Christmas. NO way I was gonna break a momma rule. So, when in need of appeasement get 'em what they asked for. She frowns on flowers as they die, is allergic to chocolate (that's way good!) and doesn't wear jewelry. May need to add in the night out idea! Truck unloaded, pictures taken. Gotta resize 'em and I'll post, showing why I probably need to add the night out.
