 I'd say you did great! That second to last picture, the green polished stone looks like Crysoprase to me. If it is, that is an expensive little beauty because it looks high quality! the green and blue may be malichite with chrysocola in quarts and if it is, it is also high quality. I would say each piece you have there looks wonderful! Fran

Looks like Variscite to me. soft green color and kind of chalky. It is about a 4-4.5 on the MOH scale. I think it will dissolve if left in water if I remember correctly. Works better at being shaped on the 600 and up. It should polish but use a light hand all the way through.

Beautiful work Ken! It is great to see you wrapping again! I think the doublets are great! I never would have realized the rose quartz were over the laces. Gives them a beautiful hue and the second wrap is my favorite! Fran

That one looks great! I always have a problem with the needles pulling away. I have heard you have to use a light touch but I tend to try and rush it. Great shape too! Fran

I always know I am in for a treat when you are emptying a slab bucket! That Amy sage may be pitty but it looks like large slabs so the good areas will be making some great cabs! You sure have some beautiful materials here! Fran
