We are wait to see when UCLA wants us up there to put Joshua's stint in. They are suppose to call today. Lori called first thing this morning but the person was away from their desk. Once I know I will confirm here. doesn't look like Ventura is going to happen this year...at least not Saturday...

I have posted several cabs in the cab section. The vein has a couple distinct materials. Michael Hoover finished some knives using this material for the scales. I posted the photos in the "Creations" section. PM sent for pricing information

Feel free to check out his website. He is the best at what he does! I know that whenever he has bought slabs from me he likes them sent in the order they were cut so I am sure that he uses sister slabs to make matching scales. redrummdknives.blademakers.com/

Just got back from another mining trip early this morning and seen this. You did an excellent job on that Randy. Seems like you learned the material fairly quickly too. Hypersthene can be a little tricky to work with but as you found out, it is well worth the extra effort!!

Yep all color that's why it is so soft. I think I am going back out on Sunday. It's quite the drive for me 7 hours to the spot. I am having trouble finding someone to go with me.

A new cab from my digs. This material is soft and cuts just like turquoise. In fact I backed this material with JB Weld like sometimes is done with turquoise. I am having good success doing this with this material. This came out of the same vein the material with the dark matrix but is much softer. Easy to cut and takes a killer polish.

Lovely, what are the chances of you making a tutorial of how you do this style of wrap?
