I have had this one around for awhile, at least 2 years. I would pick it up grind a little till I couldn't stand it anymore or thought I was getting too impatient and it would go back in the pile for months until it called me again. And it would start all over again. At one point I had it polished to 50k and set it aside because I could feel that it just wasn't done. It then sat for at least 3 months before I heard it calling again. Which is where it is now. I feel it is completed now. I would say I have about 4 hours of continuous work on it. I think I could have been done sooner if I had a vib tumbler, I did this all by hand.

Very well shaped and the polish looks to be perfect. I wish my first cab looked like that. She must be a natural.

I love fire agate and seem to be on a non-stop cutting binge.
rockjunquie, I do sell the cabs on my facebook page and various groups. I also sell windowed rough, usually in 5 stone parcels and individually for higher grades and larger sizes.

Great looking material. Reminds me of some of the dendritic opal I have seen.

You know what was odd about this one is that it had common bronze fire on top. It was a grand surprise to find all the blues, purples, teals and gold underneath.

Thank you everyone.
Lynn, it is a domed cab but it does taper a little (about 1.5mm) from one side to the other. Had to follow the fire!

I will be there too. I am trying to make it so I can be out there the whole month this time. I like digging around while I'm out there. I will for sure be there during the Pow-Wow I am just working on the first half of the month.
