I am leaving for Portland in the wee hours of the morning, we want to beat the holiday traffic, we being one of my sisters and one of my brothers. My brother has a very long and intense surgery on Tuesday and we would aappreciate any prayers and good juju you can send. 20 months ago he had his lower jaw replaced with a bone from his left leg, he had a melinoma cancer, he had chemo and radiation. This time he has a carcinoma cancer tumor the size of a lemon in his lower left jaw. He also has a lession on his chin that goes from laugh line to laugh line, you can see the hardware from the previous surgery. He has to have a plastic surgeon to rebuild his chin, he will have the bone taken from his right leg, a portion of muscle taken from his forearm for a portion of his tongue that they will remove and he will have a skin graft from his hip for the lining of his mouth as well as for his chin, phew, that is a mouthful! Not only is that going on but my son has surgery on Wednesday here at home, boy oh boy. I am praying for the best outcome for both.
Thank you to everyone
Tammy

I would like to be included in the rounds, but I will not be able to monitor the travels, I will be out of town until the holidays. I would love to lead the next box.

What gauge of wire are you using? It looks like it might be a little small for some of your stones, just saying you might want to add another size, I thinkyou are ready.

Wrap the jaws of your pliers with masking tape to help protect the wire from being scratched. Using the flush side of the cutters to get flat ends.

Very nice, the copper compliments the stone well. I saw a tip online about keeping the wires straight, tape the ends, close to where your weave will start, and as you weave, add new tape as your weave grows, every round or two so that it doesn't start to taper. You can also put something between your wire like a knitting needle, to keep your wires apart.

Adrian,
That is beautiful, such a grand piece deserves a grand place such as you chose for it to hang.
You do amazing work, every project is AAA quality. I am amazed at how 'well rounded' you are, all of the different areas of expertise that you have knowledge of, you are a master of many technics.

Are there only 15, since there is no number 14? Usually people who are superstisious skip 13 not 14, lol.
