Paul, Your saw looks much too clean. You need to cut some Jasper for that red brick mud look! Lynn Hey, Lynn ... yup, you caught me on that one. I had just installed the blade earlier in the week and these were the first cuts. I had warped a 303C last September when I was cutting through a bunch of the Rio Grande agates and finally got around to purchasing a new one from John W. This one was the thinker version so, while it does eat more materials, it seems to be considerably more sturdy than the prior 303C.

While reorganizing the garage, cleaning out rocks, and throwing out stuff that hadn't moved in years, I did some cutting of some odds and ends I found. Davis Creek Sheen Obsidian: Agatized and polished snail shells. I seem to recall that the boys got these at a Searches Gem and Mineral garage sale but my memory is going: Nodules and rocks: Thanks for checking them out. Paul

We had a really cool surprise this week - a SFR box of tumbled stones and quartz arrowheads from James! ( jamesp). What a cool present. The boys spent some time looking at the arrowheads and I finally got some spare time tonight to post some pics. So, a big SHOUT OUT to Jamesp for a great gox o' rocks! Thanks Buddy! Paul

Very creative! Now, please report to your Lake McClure thread and tell us what you found x2 ... and if you went hang gliding. Awesome costumes, by the way. Love it!

Welcome to the forum amyml! @shotgunner - Yes but golf is a four letter word with me. I was really into it following college and it was a lot of fun. My left shoulder was repaired a few years back and I gave up on the golf. Thanks for asking!

I've been watching Snowmom's thread on apple trees and have always been interested in "heirloom" fruits and veggies. This week she graciously sent me a box of groundfall for seeds as I'm one of those folks who will plant seeds from whatever fruits I cut in the kitchen to see if I can grow them. The package also contained a selection of local rocks from Michigan. Wooo Hooo!!! Big Shout Out to snowmom!!! THANK YOU! Ground fall for seeds! Paul Shiroma
