It is now Day-3 and there is no sign of this 12 pound bowl of polished quartz. I even asked a friend that comes over a couple of times a week if he had seen them. They have got to be within 40 feet of where I am sitting now. Bet they are hanging out with the lost socks.... |

Managed to pick up about 30 lbs of what was labeled garnets. It looks to be pretty coarse maybe 12 or 16 grade. Was going to try in the rotary in a few days when a new batch goes in my double 12 rotary. Is it a good tumbling grit? How long will it take to breakdown in relation to SiC.? I know it's coarser than anything I have ever used so I was going to allow extra time for that anyway. Anyone used garnets to tumble with. Thanks Henry |

1. Mineral Explorers, what station is this on? 2. Prospectors, liked this one but it's cancelled 3. Gold Rush, used to like this, now too scripted 4. Bering sea gold, ditto #3 5. Aussie gold hunters, what station is this on? Gem Hunters, liked initially but sadly it's scripted IMO I cancelled cable so I can't specify what station they are on. I only have Netflix and Hulu. Aussie gold hunters is on Netflix im not sure of the station and Mineral explorers is one of my favorites so I just order it by season on DVD I'll have to check those out, thanks. |

Your box arrived. Has way too much stuff in it! Haven't had time to sort thru it. jeannie is moving and I'm helping.... Ughhh Anyways, it was busted open pretty bad, hope that one chip for ID is still there. Since I have a truck I've been "volunteered" to help with several moves. Sorry to hear the box was busted, hopefully there's something in there you will like. |

We have an idea for an rv so we wont be needing a bedroom.. especially the one with power tools.. Nervous look around.. We got duct tape and the scooter and a refrigerator box.. Starting to see the wonderful rv plan unfolding?? Huh HUh?? Well so what if it rains>> uh OH.. Well we'll need some plastic sheeting.. and a toaster... for drying out the hamster.. Don't want the lil fellar to die prematurely. , you sure you want these 2 guys down your way? |

Great score,but, it almost sounds as if you haggled a little harder they might have paid you to haul it off ! Congratulations ! pretty much! I didn't really want to deal with moving it (and have not yet) so when he dropped the bid to $25, no one else was interested, so I held up my card.  Dang it, I would have bid $26...... |
