I wonder how that saw came about because the guts are commercial? Maybe someone's HP fell out of the back of someones truck going down the highway lol. Or maybe they sold kits at one time who knows. I know....I bet an employee stole it.

I have at least 2 gallons maybe 3 of something in glass jugs labeled rock saw oil but it's light brown, maybe pella? Not sure if it would be enough for your purposes but I could put it in a plastic jug and you can have it for the cost of shipping. I want it out of my shop before it gets broke. I just got a plastic jug in case your wondering why don't I just put it in a plastic jug lol.

You could always try redneck engineering. I am not responsible for your actions. LOL. Or burning your house down. If you're completely broke now that you've spent thousands on a saw there's always the option of running a heavy extension cord thru the attic to the laundry room and taking turns with the dryer. You could opt for advanced redneck engineering and somehow wire them both together with a double pole switch on each one and installed in a box with a padlock so no one can try turning on the dryer while the saw is running.
Keep in mind I leave in the sticks and don't have to deal with moron inspectors, codes etc. Most of the time I try to do things proper but now and then some of things I do might leave you scratching your head. At least most of my 'special' projects are relatively safe compared to a lot of old time farmers out here that think they can run the NYC xmas light display off a powerstrip behind the tv.

I just bought a saw that had 4 large lead weights. The saw is for sale. The weights are not.

Very interesting. Here is how a Russian Prof. decided that we would split if & when push comes to shove. The point he obviously does not get is that few of these areas would go willingly under the thumb of a foreign power. His assumption is this split leaves us defenseless against such annexations. I do like Canadians, those to the west especially. . . Any US professor could just as easily divide russia into equally disturbing pieces. Just because someone is a professor doesn't mean shit. The US seems to get the spotlight in all these collapse scenarios without taking into consideration how ****** everyone else is.

Judging by tonight's activities it's looking as if im stuck with them. I did however tell her id rather them be in the house than in my shop and she was all too happy to oblige. I spend more of my waking hours in the barn instead of in here the so the decision was easy lol. I can't have 50 cats crawling all over stuff im trying to work on nothing worse than being in a contorted predicament and one of your helpers insists on having their ass in your face while the other one knocks the bolt off into an unreachable location. Of course my great dane wasn't much better but that's a story im not going to tell.

I think we're just too conditioned to believe everything you see on the news has to be true. Too easily to fall for seeing stuff you see on the net as news and so it certainly has to be true. Then there's other problems like all the crazy crap going on that actually is true so often you'll just fall for it.
I'm not an overly intelligent person so I still fall for it myself time to time but i'm trying to get better and change direction. I'm just a typical white redneck that likes to drink beer, ride 4 wheelers and cut rocks so the info overload is all a bit much for me and spending 20 years around construction workers didn't help any.
I know i've posted this vid in other areas but this is some advice im following for now. I watch this guy because I also like to lift weights:
I admit.....i've watched this more than once lately trying to stay focused.

Did you see that they are free? That's a marketing gimmick. You want one of these, no in fact you have to get one!
Let's see...........my wife is a cat person. So am I but with rationale. We already have 5 in the house and that many outdoors. So it seems everytime someone else has a 'cat problem' it ends up being our problem. Imagine me surprise this am hearing strange sounds from a bedroom I just spent 3k remodeling for the last 6 months off and on and opening the door to find 2 manx male kittens.
Apparently they were headed to the pound which is where my wife could be heading im seriously pissed at her right now.
So now she has the bright idea they can stay in my insulated small shop area for the winter......where the other outdoor cats will be? Plus I paint items in there.....not with a spray gun.....everything I build will be identifiable by cat prints now.
Time is running out because the wife is growing attached to them so if anyone here would like one let me know asap and I will try and talk her out of it. It's not that I don't like them but this getting to be like that Trouble with Tribbles Star Trek episode.
I am near Kansas City so not sure how we could work out? Perhaps overnight FedX with air holes in the box?

It's gona take big balls to shoot my 12ga pipe gun too. I'll give it to my marine freind when he's drunk this wknd and hide behind the 4 wheeler when he shoots it.
Better learn how to 3d print gun powder you are going to be shooting a dam thing without it.
This technology is out of the bag. I think the gov't will try and control, tax etc but fact of the matter is the idea is genius but the machine could be built by any good tech guy. That's a problem for them. And of course instead of just going away they'll just screw everything up as usual.

This guy brings up some good points, nothing that's happening today isn't any different than what's been going on in all of humankinds existence......we just have bigger weapons now. Give it a couple minutes to get going it's actually an advice video not him talking about how screwed we are:

LOL I guess it's not the control part but the drive dog part. I'll post pics later on. Those things are a pain to build had to be an easier way.
Looks like that seller added 'mohave' to the description unless I was so drunk last night I didn't see it which is entirely possible.
Only thing I don't like about that saw is the flanges are only 3" in diameter, way to small for a 36" blade last guy I know that had one had a warped blade I told him that's what it probably was but I don't think he believed me. Now he uses an industrial block blade thats damn near 1/4" thick lol.

I apologize Sheltie. My neighbor and I hit the 4 wheelers starting at noon yesterday and ended up 10 miles from the house, almost entirely by way of trails thru woods, and ended up at a bar and yes we got drunk. So basically I was being a drunk asshole last night and I apologize for that and wont do it again. We were pretty beat up by the time we got home.
I am considering building and getting a patent on a PC breathalizer (unless there already is one) that keeps you from getting on the internet if you've been drinking.
We did see some cool things, we ran into a couple marines in the middle of nowhere target practicing and they let us shoot their AR15's.

I think some of us, including myself, could benefit from this advice:
Lately i've been consumed with this crap going on and it's really been a major distraction.

Jean.......you have one of the earlier editions that are usually in the $50-200 range from what i've seen this one I think is 2003. You can't hardly find it anywhere and when you do it's $1800-$3000. I contacted one of the sellers and they said that's why it's so expensive.....because no one has it. Just for kicks I asked them if they'd negotiate and they said no.
Which reminds me this subject got me to looking at rare books and some of them are just insane pricey so I guess it's possible.
Good for me I guess, if everyone else wants $2k ill ship it the hell out of here for the first $1000.00 lol. There's a lot of serious facetors with a lot of money. I don't like the idea of holding on to it......something will happen like print more or whatever. I'm into buy/resell if I get something that's worth money, esp something I didn't buy to keep for myself, it's down the road as fast as possible.

It's my belief that the price has much to do with the authors, (Vargas), and the number of copies printed. Recently I ran into the same thing when I purchased the 1st book in a 3 book series by Roger Clark on Fairburn agates. it was a signed edition, and I paid in excess of $200.00 for it. I've been told that I got it for a very good price. If I were you, I'd hang on to the book for a few more years. It will only continue to go up in value. Hell no i'm gonna sell it! LOL.
