The diamond is gone. How do you dress the blade? Sunday best, or will jeans do? I take it that by reversing the blade is to just turn it over? Condor

I have a 10 inch Covington trim saw. I know this is subjective, but about how long do saw blades last? I've cut a few hundred slabs. Some were rocks, mostly agates, up to maybe five inches that I cut slabs from, and others were slabs that I trimmed to make cabs. It's now time to get a new blade, because the current one is no longer cutting. Thanks folks.

Seattle Seahawks 17 and New England Patriots 28............. Okay folks, this was a little tricky to select the winner. Fossilman was the winner because he came closest without going over. Sort of like the game show Price is Right. A couple of others were even closer but one of the scores was slightly over. Congratulations Fossilman and thank you all for playing. Go ahead and pm me where I can ship you the jerky and I'll get it done then let you know when I send it. Condor

I would like to guess Pats 35 vs 31 hawks. Do you sell your jerky for all of the non winners? I've been known to sell jerky to rock hounds here on the boards. It's kind of expensive though because the cost of beef has gone up so much. 30 dollars from a gallon sized plastic bag plus shipping. If you go with pork, it's 25 dollars. Good stuff Maynard. Condor

Alright all you jerky lovers out there. It is time for the annual Super Bowl jerky contest. Winner will get a bag of my world famous home made beef jerky. All you have to do is guess the score between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots. The person coming closest to the final score will be declared the winner. You may only submit one guess. If there are more than one winning guesses, the person who submitted first will win. Contest stops two hours before kickoff.
Let the game begin!

I always like to see your polished rocks. They consistently come out with an incredible shine and these are no different. Absolute perfection.

Man those are nice. All of them. Especially the last two because of the meaning behind them. No matter what other rocks you end up with, those will probably always be your favorites.

Went out there a couple of months ago. Ended up with a five gallon bucket of mostly sphere type clear agates with inclusions. Been in the rotary for a few weeks now because they are so difficult to tumble. This weekend will complete the third stage (400F). From there it's on to the final polishing stage so by next week they should be ready. Also, I will be going to the Walker Ranch trip in mid April. Maybe I'll meet some of you out there.

terismithrockhunts.com/Anyone planning on doing this rock hunt? The Woodward Ranch is now closed, but the Walker Ranch which is right next to Woodward will be open for rock hunting during April 16 - 21. Cost is $75.00 for one day or $150.00 for three days. This includes all the rocks you can collect. In effect, they are the same kinds of agates as the Woodwards. You can stay in Alpine or camp out at the Walker Ranch for free. Teri Smith will be the guide. Sounds like it will be lots of fun. Condor

Great comedian. The ultra-hyper Peanut is my favorite. It almost seems like those dummies are for real.
