rockpickerforever What are the alternatives to PayPal? Anyone? Seems to me most of the options are controlled by pretty much the same group of Woke billionaires. PP owns Venmo and most of the payment services seem to have interlinked corporate tentacles. I'm looking for one that operates fairly and independently. There is gab pay. I have not used it but it is one I plan to try. Andrew Torba is specifically building platforms to fight back against the woke culture taking over. |

I'm buying most of my material on FB. Better quality, selection and price. I could sell cabs there. The reason I don't is there is less exposure and the environment is geared towards admins selling with participants left with the crumbs.

I've never been asked for my bank account information. Etsy makes deposits to my checking account and charges against a credit card. I've been on Etsy for more than three years.

I should also note or ask, the prior info we were getting about this was that yearly totals over $600 would be subject to reporting and taxation. But it appears now, that starting next year this amount is being upped to $5000. So this too is better, at least IMO

This topic was started because Etsy wanted access to a users bank account. |

Thanks for letting us know, Tommy. I've never sold on Etsy, but have an account there and have bought plenty. I can see I need to visit my favorite sellers, and buy some stuff before they hang up the towel? Wondering if eBay and other selling sites will be forced to follow suit?
