I too have some green slabs I'd like to donate to somebody to make leaves. Don't have pics immediately handy but options are: green/white/black-speckled jadeite, some green jasper (with black stringers almost like dendrites), possibly ONE slab of green Hamton Butte petrified wood (jasper quality).

Titania, my saws are all oil-filled and "sprayers" - no way I could cut something like that with the lid up 'cause I'd be oil coated (did that once by mistake, don't wanna do it again).

I hope these will do Adrian... some different shapes and sizes but a few are real close to your original specs... Heliotrop and some kind of Jade... both came from a local yard sale....  Double domed... just for fun   I'm glad I don't have to groove these... ;D Thanks for the fun Adrian! Looking forward to seeing the finished project Dan |

I can cut blanks for anyone who needs some, I have a whole bunch of green slabs and I can cut blanks out on the band saw or the revolution saw. Anyone need any just let me know.

Help!
Can someone send me the address I need to send my leaves to? I have them here with me at work, all ready to go and no address...
I have 8 done, so please give credit to whoever needs it. Not perfect mind you but all about 15 mm and about 6 mm thick aventurine. I will post a pic later when I get home.

Hi, folks! The deadline is coming closer and closer, so please don't forget to send your leaves to Titania. The deadline was the beginning of March but I understand there are some who cannot send them until next week.
SO, PLEASE PUT THEM IN THE POST OFFICE UNTIL FRIDAY, MARCH 5th. LET'S SET THIS DATE AS THE DEAD-LINE.
Please also check if your name is on the list on the first post on page 1.

Adrian, I initially joined up to send stones for the tree. That was when I was expecting to get them ready on time. Unfortunately, due to circumstances totally beyond my control, I still do not have the materials to supply the leaves.
I can only apologise, and have to withdraw for the competition.
If however, there is someone that can do a rapid cab and polish, I should be able to give FOC lbs of green aventurine for the tree hopefully middle of next week. Subject to UK customs clearance.
