THE LEAVES ARE HERE, FOLKS!!! ;D ;D ;D The box from Titania arrived safely. Please take a look at the leaves, they really show the diversity of the members here. I like their look and I'm really inpatient to start the work. They all look fantastic! Some of you probably thought that my groove cutting skills are way above what they really are and sent me some very thin leaves, which I cannot groove. Thank you for the compliment my friends and don't worry, I will use each and every leaf in those trees, if not groove wrapped then glued in the classical manner. I already cut the groove on the leaves coming from Tony Nephrite and from Dan - Blarney (they sent the leaves before). As you see, I also found the copper wire. I hope that spool will be enough for those two trees. Nichole sent me the leaves very well packed and labeled. I can easily ID them, thank you very much Nichole. She also labeled one plastic bag as "unclaimed". Here it is, if any of you recognizes his/her leaves, please claim them There are still some more leaves to come. I hope I will get some of them from some members who told me they are going to send them to me and also I will do some more of them, to donate them for two members. Anyway, when I'll build the trees I will put a few "bald" branches which could host the delayed leaves. So, if anyone still wants to join the contest, it's not too late yet Thank you for looking and special thanks to ALL of you, my friends, for taking the time to make and send those leaves. What was up to you was done and it came out really beautiful. It's up to me by now, I really hope I will manage to do justice to those beautiful leaves. And an extra special THANK YOU to Nichole, Raqui and Kate who added some surprises in that box You can see them here, and I assure you it's worth to click Adrian

Hi Adrian, the four unclaimed dark green ones are from me and they are bloodstone. I'm sharing some of my leaves with BikerRandy, so please put his name on the ones that don't have my own name on them. Wow, they look great! Jo

Surprisingly, there was only 1 lost package. The fact that there was even one is very saddening...it was akansan's beautiful leaves. But, given how many members participated, I figured at least one lost package HAD to happen. I'm so glad they made it to Adrian...I was worried sick!

Adrian, are you going to be short on the leaves? I wouldn't mind making some more with some different material I have laying around...

Updates: After counting the leaves and splitting them into two equal groups, some 70 leaves per tree will be I think. I already grooved some of them and, after placing apart the already grooved leaves and the non-groovable leaves (the latter ones being some 14 of them in every tree), I still have to groove about 40 leaves for each tree During grooving and wire wrapping, the writing on the leaves wipes out so the leaves will not be signed, they will be "clean". Tomorrow I'll post some pics, hopefully. Adrian

Of course, Rhonda! Put them into an envelope and send them here please! I noticed that a small envelope is not very expensive to sent here, it's some 4$. Or, as an alternative, contact Karen - karenfh and if she didn't send her leaves to me yet maybe you could send them to her.

Folks, sorry to say but when I split the leaves I realized they are not enough for two trees So I'm gonna make just one of them and I'm gonna keep it for myself . I hope you don't mind about that. Thank you everyone for the leaves, I'll post the progresses of the tree. Adrian PS. For those of you who might not be convinced that I'm right, just see the pic below: ;D ;D ;D APRIL FOOL!
