Mine is the Montana agate. It was a hard decision between the Flint, the unknown agate and the black skin agate. I voted for the flint. The scotch agate is very nice too. Andrea Andrea, that's a beauty. I ordered some Montana's (while on vacation no less, must be nuts), which are waiting for me at home. Hope I get results like yours!

That's a nice rock, Chuck. You've got me convinced I need to put the boys in the car and drive the 3.5 hours to dig our own this Fall. Thanks- It was a six hour drive each way for us. I took my two boys and we did it in one day and even stopped at a cave tour on the way home. I brought home about 80 pounds and that was enough to make me bored of it after cutting hundreds of slabs and tumbling all of the rest. I have two tumbled rocks that I will never give up from that trip though. The one from the contest and one other one. Look at the last rock in this thread forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/62938/exciting-find-batch-11-22Chuck Holy crap! That looks like a tiny terrarium or something. I thought I remembered reading an old trip report you posted some time ago.

Well, ya'll are filling in the names nicely! Good to know who goes with each rock. Some real stunners there. orrum , you need an avatar picture! I (or most anyone here) would be happy to host it for you if need be and you can come up with a picture that you would like to use. That generic thing isn't worthy. You can email a picture to someone can't you?

Truth be told, orrum, Tony sent me a box of half picture jaspers and half Montana's. Thanks for the inspiration guys and gals. And Rob, I don't know where you even come up with a Scotch agate, but I'll be looking.

Mine was the Scottish agate from iant. He sent me some a couple years ago. I rough tumbled them a long time ago and have never finished them until now. The rock in the contest is a little bigger than a pea. They are all pretty small. I didn't realize how dark my picture was until I looked at all the pictures from better photographers. Nice job to everyone, especially the winner. I voted for Garage Rocker's black skin agate.

Nothing wrong with ordering rocks while on vacation. I'm sure you will get great results just be patient. I really like the blackskin...I think I may have some. I'm hoping to be able to use my saw this weekend or next week and I will be looking through my buckets to find it. Andrea

You haven't used your new saw yet?! You've had that a couple months now haven't you? Wow, I couldn't have waited that long. Would have had it set up in the yard with a BBQ grill cover over it when not in use until it could go inside.

By the process of elimination, and putting to use my superb deductive reasoning skills (and the fact that the same Sierra truck is reflected in his entry from last month as well as this one!) I am 99.9% certain that #3 "unknown agate" was tumbled by Jeff A El JeffA . He has not been online since yesterday morning, good enough reason not to have spoken up. Congratulations!! (I could be wrong, but I think not.)

rockpickerforever I think you are right. I didn't notice the Sierra in last month's contest but it is there. Andrea

I know. But the word is trick, I never miss a trick. Oh, wait... let's leave it at detail, lol.
For better or for worse, huh?
If Jeff is going to keep polishing rocks up like that, I hope he never starts taking photos in the nude!

What do you do with them when you catch them? Shoot 'em with paint balls??
91 degrees here. Wasn't hot enough for me, so I have the oven on, cooking banana nut bread!

All entrants labelled in OP but #1 Thanks Scott! Sorry to be my normal PITA self, just wanted to know who did 'em. I'd bet my bank account that #1 is Glenn ETA: the rock title/name gave it away
