I did this a couple of years ago and had a good response from people and raised some money for them. It's a great cause!

I bought the blade blank and cut the scales and finished the knife. I though that the tough looking knife with the pink scales kinda went well with the cause. I hope on day they all will be survivors!

You cant cut the Graves material it is a coating on the rock. Some of the most AWESOME colors you have ever seen! They also have Lazurite in Quatrz that makes great cabs and world class Rutile. There will be a open house the first weekend in Oct. if anyone can make it. I go there every chance I get!
P.S. James I love the Jasper I will have to try and get some!

I thought I would post a picture of one of the Bowie knives with Thulite scales I am doing. I got the Material from Dan(fish) Thanks! I have a Wood crafter doing one just like it with Rosewood scales. They are BIG boys 14" long made with USA 440 Stainless. I am making these to raffle off for Breast Cancer Research. I'll post a picture of the other one when I get it. I will let everyone know when the raffle starts.

George the Ga. lace is from Summerville, Ga. There are some nice Lace Agate from there a lot of just banding type but a lot that looks like crazy lace. Some of it will crumble when cutting you have to watch it. Keith

I shipped it today I hope its what you need. The box needed some filler to make sure the barrel did not roll around too much! And for some reason the post office would not let me pay to ship it . Keith
