Are you talking about something like this? It came with the used Genie I bought. it goes on the left side and holds the three wheels on the shaft. I can use flat laps and polishing pads with it. i looked at the Diamond Pacific catalog and I don't see one. I do not know what it's called either. Geoff

Congratulations on the trade. You have a polishing spool on the end of the grinder. It gets impregnated with diamond grit and you polish your cabs with it.

That is some great engineering there. Good point about the blade flanges. Maybe you could get some that fit a 10" blade.

Awesome Dan. I really like Montana agate too. It cuts easy and really does take a great polish.

I would stay away form the mist if at all possible. I read the msds for Chevron Shingle oil and Liquid Ice (a water-based tool coolant) and, aspirated pneumonia was listed in the section regarding the breathing of the mists.
I have two saws 10" and 18" and I cut outside in the backyard patio.

Steve, the Psilomelane works just like an agate. It is very messy, creating black Manganese mud, but not as messy as Boulder opal.
Slab it and see what you want to do with it then. Keep me in mind please, I'll buy a slab.

Whatever you do, please don't type in 10,000 into "view most recent posts" at your profile. That just might bring down the whole dang internet

Correct Nate. I bought a 60.00 chunk at the rock show on an impulse buy. It's the size of a jumbo chicken egg. Geoff
