Awesome cabs Ed. What great material you work with, the shapes, patterns and shine are incredible.

I'm with Ed and Mary Ann. I love to cut and sell my cabs. I hope to travel some kind of show circut. My wife makes jewelry and we have talked about selling. I'm 48 now and I feel it is time to start-up something that can hopefully carry us into our retirement. Mary Ann also mentions the social aspect of it can be the best part.

Wow, how nice. If this post was not "holy" I would break one of the commandments (envy).
That Pietersite is way better than anything I saw at the rock show last weekend!!

I think it's lava that cooled so quickly that no gas bubbles happened. Pumice is lava that cooled very slowly, that is why it has holes and obsidian does not.

Nice cabs Mike. The last one looks like a wonder-stone type of ryholite.

Thanks, I think I can use it for some. I thought about Opticon but I didn't know it yellows when exposed to UV.

Another great batch. You got that willow creek from Jim's pile? That is like finding a needle in a haystack.

We can really use CA glue for our cabs? I thought it fumes and yellows over time. Am I wrong? (I hope, it would make life easier for me).
