Welcome to the forum from your nearby neighbor outside of Wickenburg, Arizona. I don't have a tumbler currently but I do love rocks.

Good luck Diane drocknut at the show! Are you gonna make the Pow Wow in February? Thank you, it was a good show. Attendance was down this year but still did good sales. Yes I will be selling at PowWow along with Russ (nowyo) in January.

I will be selling at PowWow again this year although I'm considering other options for next year considering how badly sales were last year. I'll have to look up my booth numbers (and see if they changed them again) and I'll post that information on this thread.

I’m considering going, anyone know what it takes to get a booth/vendor space? I don’t have a business selling rock, but it would be nice to bring enough rough to cover the trip expense. Here is the website for the show/promoter. It has contact info on it, so it's probably best to hear the details from them. desertgardensrockgemandmineralshow.com/That is just one show, there are several others including a new show called Miner's CoOp that is being run by the guy who does the Miner's CoOp in Tucson (actually Marana). He told me that booth cost is $800 and it is a three week show. The other shows have different prices but all are pricey. I heard Desert Gardens increased their prices and several years ago Tyson Wells Gem and Mineral Show was $600 for two weeks but that may have changed too. Just look up Gem and Mineral shows in Quartzsite and you should be able to see most of them with contact information. PowWow is in mid-January and runs for 5 days with cost of booth fees depending on where the booth is located and how big it is.

It is a great show. I've been a vendor there for several years and look forward to it every year.

Definitely looking great. You definitely have using LOS down pat. Good for you. I just hate the smell of LOS so I don't use it that much on my wraps although most of my wraps tend to be silver or gold. When I do use LOS to patina something I use a product called "Renaissance Wax" on it after polishing to protect it. I don't know how much it helps but was told it was a good final step in the patina process.
