I have worked with both Argentium and Sterling Silver. They are very similar to each other. Copper tends to be a softer wire although I use dead soft in Argentium and Sterling. As Jason said, silver wire does seem to be more prone to tool marks than copper. I don't use Silver Filled because I never liked the feel of it or the way it worked. I was in the process of switching over to all Argentium but haven't done that many wraps to use up my supply of sterling silver wire. I'm still not convinced that Argentium is that much better than Sterling so when I do order more wire I'll be comparing the prices for sure. I do like that Argentium doesn't look as badly tarnished when it's been sitting for a while but it does tarnish a little so I just clean all the wire before I do a wrap.

Hope you have a great show. Oops, posted this reply before I read all the thread pages. My bad. Glad you had a good show. As long as you had sales I figure it's a good day.

Beauties, all of them. Maybe I need to put South Dakota back on my bucket list. Thanks Diane! You definitely should! (And you'll want to bring LOTS of buckets! LOL) For sure! Last time I was in South Dakota it was only a few days and I went to Wall Drug Store and had Mickey Pancakes and a cup of coffee. I didn't have time to go do much rockhounding but did go to Railroad Buttes for about 2 hours with no luck finding anything except prairie agates and not many of them. I did get to see the Petrified Wood Park and drove through Deadwood and Rapid City. It was a quick trip for sure.

That was a good read, thank you for posting that. I haven't gotten a message from Etsy yet but I'm sure it is only a matter of time. I don't make a lot of sales on there but I do make some. I also have a shop on a newer selling platform called goimagine. I might just have to move all my listings there. I am not about to give some possibly shady third party access to my business bank account. If anyone wants information or decides to join goimagine.com let me know since I can give you a code for a free month.

Beautiful wrap to end the Roaming wire. So sorry for the loss of your father. Prayers for you and your family.

Nice job on the shelving. Thanks for the words Diane. Weld the sides and make the 3 cross connectors 'bolt on' and it could be shipped in a flat box. Make a welding jig to mass produce and they would likely make a fine ETSY product for resale. Saying that because we tried to buy similar design and the cost was over the top. Interesting idea but with Etsy it seems to be a crap shoot for what sells and what doesn't lately.

Nice job on that. I struggle with prongs and use painter's tape for marking the spots.
