I don't understand being too young for medicare; here in Canada, I think children are some of the heaviest users of the medical system. any time I go to the doctors office it is filled with them. We pay a monthly fee here less than $100. for a single and every adult is calculated at that rate and then there is a family rate based on the number of children. The rate is also based on income and goes down from there. By having everyone on the system it makes it less costly, and so does not for profit; why should anyone get rich off someone elses suffering? The medical proffesion make a good living but making profit on every bandage and stich of needed medical care is just not right.

maybe I can get a grasp on why you hate what we in Canada call "Medicare" so much by telling you what I pay; actually we all pay the same amount, but lower income earners do get their fee forgiven or partially so. right now I am mandated to pay $60 a month. This gives me unlimited justified visits to a doctor, clinic, or hospital emergency room. Our hospitals are non profit and we support them with our taxes but there are also privately funded clinics that get paid at the same rate as calculated costs. I pay for all perscriptions on the same sliding scale as the medicare fee. With our tax supported medical system we spend 10%gdp on healthcare and the US spends 16% and I am just trying to honestly understand why.

I just checked and even though it says their name in the heading, the page is the great generic search engine in the sky. That usually means the name is up for grabs I think

that's a great looking drawing and design. I really like the west coast art and when you get a few people playing thses and costumed dancing going on it's a real treat.

I have a similar one from a different source I think because it is smoother on the outside; finer silt I think. I believe they are some kind of mudball conglomerate from strong silty river flows. I get them in my river but smaller also. I think if you were to find a broken one it is softer inside where it hasn't been altered. MY 2C

I'm still working my way through the different varieties of "chert" from this river and this is really an attention getter; if you're goth. Really has some nice black inclusions showing and gets solid after this heel peice. This is just a quick rough it out peice with 100 grit and then a light oil just to see what's there. Attachments:

I really have to get some hole sws and try a couple of these. I have about 30 lbs of different Guat jade colours and there is one called jaguar; which is a dark green with large mutton fat speckles that I think would look great but they all would
