When im out in the shop ill try and find it today and let you know. I'm pretty sure it's just the sales literature. These were sold in kit form thus the wood tank. I could just copy it and mail it to you no big deal.

Damn. LOL.
I prefer to wash my hair after a day in the shop with greasy fingernails and paint. Does a great job of getting your hands clean.

Just fyi Cyprus passed the bank stress tests 2 years ago. Not to mention they were lied to and told Greece bondholders wouldn't take a haircut. Then it happened. Twice. Presto instant ruin.
For those that think big deal I don't have any $ to take better think again. Just ask the Cyprus people who can't buy food because the stores have no $ to operate, etc etc etc.

For those that haven't kept up with Cyprus, the bail ins have gone from 10% of your $, to 40% and now 80% and you can't withdraw your remaining 20% for 2 years. In other words total wipeout. Of course this was originally for depositors with 100k or more but since the Russians conveniently removed a lot of their $ before it happened and now it's a huge surprise(lol) who knows what will happen to the small depositors. Other than cash controls, which is just a slow death, we will see. And just to add 'confidence' in the EU the Toika have now said this will be the new model. Implosion straight ahead. And now Canada is disussing 'bailins' and the funniest part of the quote is "unlikely event that a systemically important bank depletes its capital" Read more at globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com/#KhLiHHUTRiJwQr86.99You wouldn't be discussing it if you weren't considering it. Furthermore all of the discussions of the US saving a billion here and a billion there are worthless. This debt can't and won't be paid back. Hard telling what will happen but I suspect they need the guns first. It's not a whacko conspiracy anymore.

No this isn't new, and it's probably been discussed here but just in case it hasn't:
I personally have not tried this but someone recently told me that people, and a lot of them overseas(im in the US) are taking say 4-6 rock saw blades, spacing them apart with 1 washer and doing hand carvings this way.
I have no interests in this as I have zero artistic talents when it comes to shaping some figure, stone etc.
Just something for some of the creative types here. Like I said this may be old news but i've never heard of it.

Here in KC they are getting the new Google hq's. I won't be working there but will bring in $ which apparently is needed badly as we can't even afford to have our waterfountains on now. Of course im not qualified to work there nor would a care to wear one of their 24/7 armbands that track you're every movement and have nasty letters sent to your house if you stopped for ice cream last night and you could be getting fat. No kidding.

Can't really tell, if it's not a home made saw it's possible that's what was called an "Ideal" slab saw that came in kit form. I have the original paperwork in my shop somewhere. "somewhere" lol.

Just for topics sake i've seen more than one vintage HP saw when the vise was in a particular location one of the roller bearings would spin freely. Of course the way you're talking several of them are and that would be a problem of who knows what. Oh well at least they offered to come fix it.

I'd order a 24" Highland Park. Esp if it's taxpayer funded lol. As far as 'must be table top' just play stupid. Oh look..........I can't believe how big it is I didn't think it would be that large! From day 1 everyone is going to bitch that they don't have a larger saw. I'm not being totally serious but if I thought I could pull it off I would.

The old western saws were hydraulic/weight. $ is the issue. You can get a good used saw for several hundred or more, if you want this and that feauture and gold plated hoods then be prepared to pay. That's why they don't make the LS10's anymore, costs just as much to build as an LS12.

That sucks. I refuse to use wingnuts and hand tighten, I only use a wrench. Of course you may have a bookend vise I don't know. Of course this doesn't cure everything either.

I was going to post a pic of one of my rocks with holes in it I thought it would be more appropriate for this thread.

Of course I realize the pushmower idea you my as well just use the electric motor with a shaft adapter but since we're on crazy ideas.........how about a 3-blade riding mower deck flipped over you could have 3 different grits running lol.
