I went to Kingman AZ last Sept & bought some Turquoise rough. The gallery I sell at near Zion National Park has people asking for Kingman Turq. Here are 3 wraps my wife will deliver to the gallery today. Lynn

Back in New York City you could go into a Bodega (Hispanic grocery) and buy good luck in a spray can! Lynn

It looks like you have your own website. Just upload them to your site in a folder reserved for linking photos to forums, etc. Then create a path in your post back to the photo. The advantage of hosting your photos is they display at full size. No clicking needed to see it full size.
Here's the code I put in a post to link to a photo stored on my site: img]http://www.playzar.com/rthphotos/Picasso.jpg[/img I left out the opening and closing brackets, otherwise you would see my photo, not the code I use. Lynn

@hookedonrocks - Nice material. Great cab shape & workmanship. If this is your first, you're off to a good start. The shape has smooth, flowing curves. Some beginners just don't understand how to make a pleasing curve. You've got it down.
Looking at the slab, I thought it would need some gluing or filling of cracks, but the finished cab doesn't appear to need it. Keep on slabbing, cabbing & posting pix. Lynn

rockjunquie - Once again you've shown us some wonderful eye candy. I love the Morgan Hill, the Dino Bone, OJ, Peanut Obsidian. I'm sure I'd like the Covelite more if it wasn't so pitted. I suppose the camera shows the flaws more than I would see in person. I love that you always have such high-end stones. No driveway gravel from Tela! Lynn

Grit or gunk between the inner flange (the one that goes onto the shaft before the blade) and the shoulder of the shaft could cause wobble. On some saws that inner flange is pressed onto the shaft. On many it's a separate piece that slides off. I've seen a flange that was pressed on crooked, probably because of grit not allowing it to seat completely. Lynn

I've broken cabs that were dopped with CA & put in the freezer for a couple of hours. Trying to pop them off the dop broke them. Lynn

I dissolve CA glue in a jar of acetone. Is there a reason why you can't soak this particular project? Lynn

melhill1659 Looks like you're off to a good start. What application do you do your drawing in? How did you get the design transferred to the metal & the stencil? Do you have a plotter or cutter? Keep posting so we can all drool. Lynn

Thanks! Guess I didn't realize that changing the grinding wheels on this beast would be such a difficult process! Change them, I must if I want to use it, tho. Thanks for the info, Jay Thanks for the help, a little oil, a little waiting and a little torque and everything slipped off. Ready for new wheels! Thanks again. That was quick. I'm jealous because I've had to wait days & use lots of force to get bearings off old rusted equip. Let's see pix of the machine! Lynn

Spray PB Blaster on & let it soak for a few days. Then try a hydraulic press. It's safer than pounding on it with a hammer. Harbor Freight has one for $130 - about $105 with 20% off coupon. Lynn
