Thank you guys! Glad you enjoyed! rockjunquie this was the third Sonora cab that I have made. I was surprised that the stone is hard. My first cab was the endcut The second became a ring. The Leland blue is the nicest I have found...very few bubbles and no chunks of metal! DH plans to make a necklace and earrings.

I'm fixing ham, potatoes dauphinois, curried cauliflower, homemade rolls, cherry coke salad, and cake with eggnog frosting.
We've invited four orphans over...orphans being elderly single folks with no family in the area.

So here is my second finished intarsia. Owyhee picture jasper framed with more picture jasper jasper, beige and then blue/green, and basenite. Once again the rectangular shape was a challenge to cab. And my DH set this one up as a pendant.

Here's the whole group together. Unfortunately the Quetzal broke. At some later date it may become a teardrop.

Wonderful work! Haven't seen jumpin jeep in a coon's age! Beautiful tiger eye too. Awesome capture of the flash in the picture. Very wild shell in shell on that pendant too! We've seen the current Jumpin' Jeep miner at the Tucson Miner's Coop show for the last three years. I don't remember his name, but he also mines "electric blue" obsidian.
