Ok, have to ask the obvious. How did you dome those small links? Looks great, btw, as we can imagine on this board... thank you very much.i need to update a pic,it's 19" long now.i anealed the tubing cuts then used a dapping block.6 taps on each side Dave Damn, I knew that was the answer. I really can't afford one of those sets but really want one. Tired of flat already! Thanks for being such a great inspiration, Dave. Whoa, that final photo is stunning!

Love that cold connection. It's a great idea. For some reason, soldering bails to bezels is like fighting Jaws for me. That's what gives me the hardest time and takes the longest. Probably psychological. I know it's coming, I tense up... disaster. I might go ahead and give riveting a shot. I tend to use it on copper cuffs anyway. I love the gypsy settings, does that mean drilling a pointed hole with... what? Do you glue them in? You must. I have seen several of these sets on the board. And can someone explain to me why some CZs cost as much as actual stones?

I just started making chain maille bracelets/necklaces, and Byz is a fun weave to do. I even invented my own weave. I like that it's all medieval. But i'm only up to using silver plate because of the costs involved. I made a pair of cute sterling earrings, but no way do I have the temperament or patience to solder all the ends. My hat off to you, sir! Great job.

Just lovely. The stones are beautifully done and I like your settings. Very clean.

Great work! I use non-jewelry tools as well. My drywall hole starter makes perfect little textures. I think a big nail would work well, too. Keep it going! I envy your ability with the saw.

With ideas like that, smithing will come pretty naturally for you. Great work on these prong settings.

Well, it's beautiful. Maybe if you texture it first or run it thru a mill that will work harden it?

Another one out of the park! I think I'm going to retire from this biz.

That's some real talent there. Gorgeous wraps. Some of the best I've ever seen. Are you using dead soft or half hard sterling?

Are those 2 shanks soldered together or one big shank cut into 2? Really pretty. Tiger's Eye never fails to please.
