Hello!
I have a QT66 tumbler with the dual 6lbs barrel.
I never have two separate batches going; it’s always one big batch. So I was thinking about getting the QT 12 barrel.
Will this fit on my QT66 tumbler?

Just a PSA (Public Service Announcement) for anyone cutting it close: According to the Feather River Lapidary & Mineral website you have to have the rocks you are sending back postmarked no later than August 15, problem is that is a Sunday. So unless you have a special hookup with the Postmaster General or live near a special post office better get them in the mail by this Saturday. My post office is open on Sunday……..

Do the judges take off points if the rocks still have cracks or little holes still?
I don’t understand the grading guidelines

I just purchased the 6" Hi-Tech saw and like it.
(coming from an old Lortone that was misused before I got it and just too much work to keep working)
Ive only had 1 cutting session so far with the blades provided, but it cut everything I threw at it.
Anything bigger than about fist sized will be a challenge...like any 6" saw.
The lack of drainage plug is kinda inconvenient, I will say. Need to siphon or dump to empty. Not a show stopper though.
BD
ok thank you. Were you able to get 2-3 inch pieces through the saw?
Was the spray alot like a tile saw or was it a little cleaner?

I’m not sure to be honest. I’d like to be able to break my own material down so that’s my current focus. I think I’d like to eventually trim with a saw as well

I’m looking at these two models. I believe the smaller one may be too small. I basically just want to break material like this down to smaller sizes. The smaller saw says less than 1.5 inches so um not sure how exact that is! Thanks for the help!

They look very nice!
I will attempt my first glass this week. May pick your brain about the sugar slurry when I get to that point!

I have a squirt bottle next to my vibe. I squirt a little in there every so often to keep this from happening

Hello!
I'm getting more into some different sizes of stones and I sometimes spend months shaping stones.
Does anyone have experience with using a dremel? Additionally anyone can recommend a set of bits?
Thank you!
