Nice tumbles as usual!
The patterns on that rock almost seem impossible, one of my favorites for sure!
Glad to see another Toyota fan! I've bought a 2007 Tundra with the 5.7 new and now has 130,000 miles and still feels new! The 4.7 is also a great motor, I had that in my 2005 Tundra and was very smooth!

What rmf said, definitely a good unit, and Lortone will have any parts you need if it needs work. With the original SiC hard wheels be cautious. I have had an aluminum oxide wheel come apart on me on a non lapidary grinder, ended up with stitches. You never want to be in line with them while they're spinning and when you're done using one shut off the water supply and allow it to spin dry before stopping the machine. Is it 6 or 8 inch? Either way Kingsley North will have plenty of sanding belts for the expanding drums for a decent price. Wow! Thanks for the tip!
Does the non lapidary grinder have a higher rpm?
This is a 6 inch.

Assuming this would be for slabs?
Does it look like it is missing a lot of other equipment other than a coolant system?
Thanks.

At first, I thought this was a pottery wheel. You know, for throwing clay, making pots? The platform to the right looks like a place to rest your arms/elbows while spinning clay. But then I asked myself, Why would there be a huge nut right where the center of the pot would sit? Maybe turning clay was the original purpose of the machine, and it was modified for lapping slabs? Or, maybe it was home built specifically for slabs! The aluminum spray shield certainly looks home made. Just seems a tad tall for slabs.
Is there a manufacturer's name on it anywhere? Any kind of ID? I guess it could really be anything you want it to be! Jean
ETA - Shimpo VL Lite Pottery Wheel
No name plates. I'm sure it was homemade.

I have never used anything like this. is it setup with sand paper for grinding? or does it have polishing pads on it. yes oil the motor and the braring have grease fittings. I believe it was for grinding.
I have boxes of stuff with various pads.
