Have no fear, Doc will figure it out and get it running good and stong. I have total faith in him. Glad to see you back online Sands, how you feeling now? Doc said you weren't doing too good on Thanksgiving. Hope you're better, take it easy though, us oldies have to go slow. I'm suffering myself right now, back is killin' from shoveling. It was cold out, so I probably pushed myself more than I should have.

you know how women cannot put on makeup without opening their mouth well i have found that when i've got the best movement going for producing great cabs that i am moving my mouth too lol. so when the mouth starts moving i'm on a roll and if it's still i haven't got it right yet. whatever works!

Sands and Doc, Sounds like a mutual admiration society! I had an abcess in a molar last year and they had to amputate it. Real weird having a hole where a tooth should be, but so better without the pain. My son had a small filling three months ago; continual pain ever since; they cannot find the source; probably not the teeth; he's had a root canal; no relief. They better get on the ball, law school only lasts three years, then...
Sounds like Doc has the ideal helper and student...watch out, with work like that the master may soon be surpassed.
Doc with your history , why would you want to go live in Alaska? cant be good for the circulation...
No such word as Can't...hard to understand why others don't have that philosophy...my Dad did everything and I like to but don't quite everything for practical reasons and because I have more money...we fixed cars, plumbing , roofs... a true story..I was eight when we moved from an apartment to our first house... that April the house was filled with flying ants that had infested the place over the years( the house was built at the turn of the century and I don't mean Y2K). After we got rid of the bugs the real problem was a house with sagging floors as the termite infested floor joists were giving way...He just asked around and over the next few months he'd put the house onto some jacks and replace the wood beam by beam...we walked over planks as the floor was removed too
I was just in Florida but too far away in Lauderdale, would have loved to drop in on you csroc

Sands has real talent, and Moxie. The shop across from me opened up today. It is a real choice shop, and gets more traffic as a result of our shop. The entire isle went from tag sale day to where vendors fight to get in. In the shop where Sands is going. It is a double deep single booth. About 10ft X 20ft. He can set up his saws, grinder. He can slab, polish, growl at customers. If he does not feel good about wire wrapping yet, he can get me to do the wraps untill he catches up. Frankly, with his first wrap, he has what it takes. Everybody feels they are not ready for their first shop. It is frightening, imposing, and it gets real real, right now. Then when they get into their shop, they can break it down to one customer at a time. He has to get a name for the shop, his tax number, and he is off to the races. Jenne and I will hold his hand for a while, I will show him things, Jenne will show him things. He is a fast learner, look at his stone work. There is nothing that makes what I had to do for our shop worthwhile than to see someone with talent get a real chance. Even if he falters, he will be one more step closer to success. Across the isle from us, we will watch over him like a mother hen and give pointers whether he likes them or not. He has already met Sam I am, Wierd Harold, Big Hair Tina, Patches, Trool, Droog, Becky the Airhead, the grouchy Q-Tips, a few walking wounded. He has already broken ground there. I think Sam I am might hang with Sands. If Sands is lucky, Sam I am will tune his hearing aids together so he can actually hear. Everything to him is an echo, gets annoying after a fashion. If Sands work alone does not speak loudly there, there is something wrong with the crowd. He does great work. I am having him do an Intarsia for me for Jay Fred Muggs, a beginner's Opal highlighted with green turquoise, bracketed with bright blue turquoise for an heart pendant I am going to make him. His heart pendant is actually a totem. Sands will probably take photos for posting. I hope he posts his shop also. I am psyched. I think he has what it takes.
