I hope you do well! But like was said be sure you are clear to people what will happen if their rock explodes! Also if you are using a thick blade remember that you lose a slab about every 3 cuts so let them know so they will not think you are shorting them on the cuts. And also you need to think about when the rock comes out of the vice(and sooner or later it will happen) and you wipe out your $150-$300 blade is it worth it.

Yea a lot of coral is "rotten" on the inside it may look good on the outside but when you start cutting it turns to junk. I bought a huge coral head from Indonesia a while back looked solid until about the 3rd cut and the middle was trash. I will be careful when buying now especially since I started collecting in here and cutting it and see how it can look.

Great idea! But you said "Yes, it is working well, and cutting faster (more inches per hours) than the precious clamp." The drive is turning at the same speed as before so I dont understand how it could be cutting any faster? All you did was basically replace the nut with another nut! Unless the other one was slipping maybe?
