All my slurry goes on the garden beds, except if borax is in it. Plants seem to do wonderfully with it.

Hey John. Get a spray can of plastidip. Also some fiberglass mesh.Spray the area with a coating of plastidip, and and apply a piece of the mesh, imbedding it in the plastidip..repeat after it hardens, and spray again to coat, and apply more mesh.Do this as many times as you think is necessary.Idid this to my 35 lb barrel, and works fine. snuffy

Yeah, thats what started it! 8-)I will plant one Santa Rosa and one Methley.I think the Methley is my favorite of the two,but both are great. They only last a few years in this area, need to plant a couple more every couple of years. My kids have fond memories of grazing on them waiting for the school bus,and after school.

Shotgunner posted some pics of his Santa Rosa plums earlier in the year and reminded me of when I had them where I used to live, many years ago.Expanded my garden out and made room for fruit trees and new garden beds.I have our 40 year wedding anniversary coming up,and in the spring, will be my 40th season of gardening. In my walkways between beds,I fill with leaves and grass clippings. After a couple years,I "mine" it and use it to create rich new beds.We get our first freeze tonight, there will be plenty of leaves bagged up at curbside in town the next month to refill the walkways.Anyway, about a foot of rich compost out of them The addition and 8 - 8FTX8FT beds. Someone asked one time about fall and winter gardening in Texas.Got some greens ready to cook. Had to put wire, then wide boards around them,Peter Cottontail and his family really liked my spinach the first 3 times I planted it. Scott, thanks for getting me on the ball about my fruit trees. Thanks for looking yall!! snuffy

Mark, that onside kicker had that kick nailed down.As good as it could be done.
Shotgunner,Stanford is the all around top sports program in the nation every year.
Bill, looks like you are gonna win the bet we had!It was finally a Thursday night worth watching.Saturday is our last home game, look for Johnny Football to play lights out in probably his last home appearance of his career.
Will be interesting to see how it plays out the last few weeks.Next seasons playoff system will be a lot better.

Easiest way to reclaim the oil is get a 30 or 40 gallon sturdy trash barrel, fill half with water, pour all oil and rock snot in it and all the oil will float to the top.Scoop or skim it off.Clean oil.

Hey Mark, just checked on this.It does not say silicon carbide on this, just 80 abrasive grit.Have you used this before?Just checking before I order some. They say excellent for rotary tumblers. snuffy Yeah, I talked with them and they said it was silicon carbide. Plus if you look really close at their 2nd line header it says "Kingsley North → Lapidary Equipment & Supplies → Abrasive Grit - Silicon Carbide" I got 100 lbs coming - that should last me a while. No more having to skimp on it! Funny yesterday they had it listed as 50 lb lots for $65, plus no mention of ability to flat rate ship (so I had to call and ask). Maybe 50 lbs will not have fit so nicely in the Flat Rate boxes so they just proportionally cut the deal down. My poor mail lady - she is a real gamer, but she might have to ask me for help on this one. That's cool! By the way,I ordered 50 lbs when they had 60-90 on sale 2 years ago, shipped in a lfr box,all I could do to handle it! snuffy
