Well surely you already know if it will turn or not I hadn't ready you took it apart before I posted that. Another problem often is wasps building nests in them. I try to keep all my good motors in the insulated portion of the barn.

Humidty got to it, probably rusted the armature. You may get lucky........try manually turning the pulley several rotations while it is not plugged in and maybe even whack the motor with a hammer(im not kidding but don't do it as to dent it just tap it) and it may free up on it's own.

Nice. And we're getting ready to go out for breakfast lol. No spoons for me this am.
Truthfully though that's not to out of line for corporate interests.

"Who in their right minds" That pretty much explains it.
There's more going on than just that, the US is putting troops in every African country and building a drone base.
Pretty much resource wars. It's kinda like this.......If the US doesn't end up with it China will. 2 different approaches, China is trying to buy it, US is trying to blow it up and steal it.

That's always a tough one. I lost my 2 best friends this fall. My greatdane Sirboo who was 12 and a my lab Fluffy who was 16. And then my weeney dog checked out shorly after. I had 6 total, I admit it was a bit of work. I recently picked up a stray out in the woods as my bloodhound Waylon was nice enough to bark at her and alert her of our location. Couldn't really leave her there she followed us over 2 miles and back to the car and jumped right in and there are no other houses around. She hadn't been out long she was still fat(not pregnant thank god) and not that hungry.
I like what George Carlin said about animals, that your not really purchasing a pet but a small tragedy.
This should cheer you up momentarily if you haven't seen it yet:
I nearly peed my pants watching that.

Basically our entire system is based on everlasting growth and fueled by funny money to boot on a planet with finite resources. Impossible. Of course we are still in the midst of a massive economic recovery if you listen to crooks like Bernanke. Personally I think things are primed and ready to fly apart at anytime and the gov't is getting ready for it: 30,000 drones over the US, NDAA, gun control etc etc etc. Fun times straight ahead. I need to go cut some rocks and drink a beer now.

I totally disagree. Anyone that thinks this is true in this economy hasn't done the math. And with robotics and level playing fields with the likes of China it's only going to get worse. Even if you account for the less desirable jobs the situation is dismal.
I also learned a long time that some old people are reallys stupid. Don't take offense to that but there's plenty of older people that apparently spent 70-80 years and learned very little.
We aren't experiencing Peak Oil, we are experiencing Peak Humanity.

I have x military type friends that had secret clearances that continually tell me that society collapse and zombies are comings.
Guns aren't the problem, 5% approval ratings of our gov't is the problem lol. Who would want millions of armed people that hate them?

I have no problem with this at all. Granted our overlords do. Of course if I only had a 5%approval rating I wouldn't want people to have guns either.

Most HVAC shops aren't going to want to take the time to deal with this. They are making way too much $ elsewhere not to mention the techs are making $20-35hr which is too much to be playing around with $20 used motors. If you had a friend in the business that would be different.

There are other things to think about than yourself when it comes to safety. A small hand mesmerized by the spinning action could quickly end up in the wrong place. Just as a curious cat. And beer doesn't help either lol.

Cool. Rocks always make me happy. Most rockhounds are generally generous people, some even if they can't afford to be. Nice doggie in your pic. I have to take my bloodhound for a stroll shortly. More like him taking me for a stroll.

Hi Helen, it came from a collection from someone who knew nothing about it. LOL. Some of the blue streaks in other pieces are more like yours but still not as nice. I'm thinking the color scheme is too similar. Daniel thought it was a type of jasper from wyoming which would make sense as most of the rocks I bought in the collection were jasper. The slab in the picture I put on here is 7" across at its widest point.
Other than that im sitting here thumbing thru some old magazines showing a pink celestite location in the middle of nowhere not far from here on a creek bank with some of the pieces displayed in the Smithsonian. Hmmm......im thinking a 60 year old spot this may have been forgotten i've already located it on googleearth lol. Might have to take some cash to bribe the property owner.

Not sure if what I have is the same thing or not. I posted it on here a long time ago, some thought some sort of chrysocolla, some thought jasper, who knows. Doesn't really help you though I have no idea lol.o My piece is fairly large, better than softball size I cut several slabs and still have a big hunk left. Not really wanting to part with it only one like it I have and i've already gave a couple slabs away.

One other thought this could be in response to 1 or 2 lawsuits claiming bacteria growth in the crockpot from taking too long to cook. I haven't looked into that.
