I'm the official dummy for seeing if charred items really do cause cancer. I only own 3 grills whereas my neighbor has 4 or 5 and a large smoker. He also has gout. There's a chemical in meat that causes it and it's also in beer. Which is his main beverage year round and mostly mine 6 months of it I slow down in the winter and sometimes don't drink at all for weeks on end like now.
Getting back to your topic, being from Kansas City I know a lot of guys with smokers making their own sauce. You are right, I have yet to find anyone with something better or even as good as KC Masterpiece from the store. A lot of the BBQ joints make their own some are good some are not and everyone has a personal preference. My favorite place is an old hole in the wall and it's very spicy. I took a friend there with a couple other guys one time and he spit it out and said he was done. LOL. No kidding.
Then there's guys like my overly fat friend who prove the fat people are picky by carrying his own bottle of BabyRays whereever he goes. Not real sure what the restaraunt owners think when he whips that out?
I've tried your recipe I also like that on chicken. When FamousDaves first came to town I was like oh boy a national chain but they are actually really good and even the guys that smoke in events think they have the best ribs and they also have a very interesting sauce selection. They have one that's not on the table called "Wilburs Revenge" I think it is. I asked them for some. Yeah, it's pretty nasty hot but if im in the mood I like that stuff.

That's pretty funny because I've been referred to Linus in the pumpkin patch by many friends for several years now. The real funny part is now they are all seemingly survival and depression mode experts all of the sudden.
I didn't bother watching tv last night I spent it in my shop.

They say it's not the speculators fault but a lot of it is. All they do is watch charts. When they reach good support levels they all pile$ into it. When everyone starts screaming about high prices and it appears it can't go higher they sell. And then they wait to repeat the process.

Only problem with not slabbing it all at once(which I don't do either) is getting the rock perfectly aligned the next time you cut it for a uniform slab. If it's an oddball I may be more inclined to cut it up while I have it in there.
I have a whole shelf of very large rocks that have been partially slabbed and I refer to it as my 'rock deli' lol.

Hi Mel........I was joking around a bit but serious at the same time about how they go overboard. One of my favorite guns is my semi-auto 12ga.

Damn it im making a lot of double posts tonight because of afterthoughts but I just absolutely had to add that one of these tuff neighbors of mine got drunk a couple weeks ago and fell off his barstool backwards in the basement and his sister called me crying as the ambulance went by. 2 weeks in the hospital. Multiple broken ribs and a concussion. Awesome.

I don't need to watch it(although I do like it) my neighbor and all his alcoholic friends will tell you they are the baddest of all time. LOL. I'd like to pay one of these MMA guys to come over sometime id put 1k on him to take them all on at once.
Some people just have big heads and this reminds me of when they used to have those toughman competitions that anyone could enter. Years ago I worked with some guy that thought he was all that and he entered and the rest of guys from work went and got loaded up for the event. He gets into the ring and he's opponet turns out being the mgr of a Golds gym and he got his ass whipped in about 5 seconds it was awesome. The funniest part is the guy didn't come to work that next monday and actually quit his job and we never seen him again. I suspect he's still training for a rematch lmao!

Forgot to mention I am somewhat inclined to believe the official explanation that the 7,000 fully auto guns are for border patrol. We don't need to discuss why they don't really do their jobs there lol. I'm just thinking 7,000 sounds like a number that would be grossly overindulgence for that job. If they were ordering for a civil war knowing the multitudes of people that have guns I would think the number would be more like 700 million or something similarly stupid and only the US gov't could order 700 million guns without negotiating for a quantity discount.

LMAO funny pics. I am convinced NYC is a separate planet occupying our time and space. The movie 'escape from NYC' is going to become a reality. Bloomberg is much like the little clown at Goldman Sachs that has "God" syndrome.

And btw when asked why im a conspiracy theorist I always answer 'because there are a lot of conspiracies out there'. LOL. Just look at the proof of all the things that the gov't has done that has come out over it's entire existence and now somehow people think that we are more civilized than that nowadays is a ludicrous suggestion at best. They're all in on it. mittromneycentral.com/resources/romneycare/

I don't have a problem at all with bashing Obama. As long as you can provide an intelligent, factual presentation of why Romney would have been a better choice. Don't waste your time trying, not with me anyhow.
My beliefs are more in the conspiracy realms, not quit as overboard as the tinhat crowd at Prisonplanet but more so along the lines of zerohedge.com.
There is entirely too much going on to pinpoint one person as the big problem.

Well no offense to anyone but this was quit the comical thread im just upset I hadn't been drinking before reading it. That of course refers to the replies and not the subject at hand there's so much crap going on it's hard to keep track of. In fact im thinking of having computer break this spring and spend 2 entire weeks in my shop drinking beer everday and cutting rocks and leave looney town for a little while.
Just for future reference my sense of humor is a bit overboard. If I do get pissed it rarely lasts but the problem is always remembering most people aren't like that so I really to be careful with what I say. Of course the people that know me well and are my friends know what to expect lol.

I got my wife the IPhone5 for xmas. Something like $110 monthly, insane. I will be keeping the dumbphone. It was expensive but on the other hand a small price to pay if you know what I mean lol. I admit it's pretty cool and after seeing what you can do with one---things like controlling robots and drones I admit I'd like to get one.

That was made by someone with considerable fabrication skills, namely the vise. Even some major mfgs don't use wheels and are just using bushings on the rods which is fine but not as nice and then some of them like to use wheels as merely guides which isn't that great but I won't start naming them off. Of course if it's a leisure project that makes a big difference. Sounds like he geared it right as 10" per hour is pretty common.
