I have seen ads on Ebay for pudding stone found in central IL. Many of the glaciers stopped there, and dropped huge loads- left mile high moraines. Have also seen photos of pudding stone found in Mn and Wi.

I have been to it and it is a joke. Lots of people who think they have gold when much of it is 2nd rate. High prices. A-holes everywhere. The stampede is supposed to be for the kids, but there are more adults pushing kids around than you would believe. If I had it off and had nothing better to do, I might drive up and look around but other than that, I just stay away from it. I would never waste my vacation days on it again. don't hold back, tell us how you really feel! sorry your experience was the pits.
hope to see some pictures and get a couple of updates from folks who did attend.

I really like this color wire with the cabs you chose, looking good! Wraps are getting more precise and tighter. I love watching your progress!

interesting. had never heard of howardite, or if I had I don't remember (CRS)... all with fine interesting patterns, very different material, sad about the fractures in the poppy, it is so LOUD! I have heard of people filling fractures with epoxy or crazy glue of some sort( those of you who know the right names please help?) and being able to finish cabs which look like new... is this possible here?

wonderful! Great design- By spacing them out it helps focus attention on each individual bead, not one gets lost in the crowd, each can be appreciated on its own merit.

welcome to the forum! I am a jade enthusiast but have no working knowledge of it. There are jade lovers here who will probably chime in soon though.
