The material from this place is crazy, every slab has a different look. Here are two other pieces from the same location.

I was doing a little spring cleaning, found this one tucked away. All fractures are healed, this material typically sells as fawn stone, from the Globe, AZ area. There is a lots of variations in this stone, it is fun to cut.

A few artichokes coming back. Some cucumbers 🥒 , and zucchini starters. The last two planters are a few peppers 🌶 and some tomatoes 🍅 😋.

I dunno… I still feel like they shouldn’t have broke like that. Seems defective to me. I’d ask for a refund. I agree! Probably a bad solder job on the diamond segments. I picked up a few core drilling bits from HD, I abuse the heck out of these things when truing up the sphere, I never lost a tooth. What brand are these?

Nice score! These machines are beasts and have tendency to wander about your shop when on. I have seen them wired to a wall and anchored to a block of concrete.
Before you put much effort into polishing, I would recommend turning it on and see if you want to tolerate the noise and wandering aspect. I used mine one time and got rid of it, faster and easier for me to use a hand-held wet grinder.
It looks complete and in great shape.
Good luck.

With 2 saws working side by side I can see why people want more saws. When you got about 4 cutting at the same time, it becomes work. Enjoy!

I'm not sure why I have this in my do not cut stash other than the fact I believe this material is not longer able to be collected and it's really cool That's cool. It reminds me of Burro Creek brecciated jasper.

AzRockGeek . What is your Bluebird rock? I like it, too. It is an azurite, chrysocolla and other copper minerals from the Bluebird mine in Globe AZ. I believe it was mined out in the 70's. It is very difficult to find large rough of this, slabs are available.

Here is one that will not hit the saws. 20+ pounds of Bluebird.

I am not familiar with Cactus Juice, but if it is flammable make sure you and your vacuum pump are in a well ventilated area. A while back I was stabilizing a few things with a casting vacuum chamber using minwax wood stabilizer, I did not realize that the fumes were gathering in the vacuum chamber case and entire box blew up on me shooting flaming stabilizer all around. I was very fortunate to be on the opposite side of where everything blew to, if not I guaranty there would have been a trip to the emergency room with 3rd degree burns.
It freaked my wife out pretty good.

It is for polishing cabs, looks like they were using chrome oxide as a polish. Similar to a spool polisher. Update: Found ad for it.

That looks like it was a fun trip with great weather. I have never been to the Rowley mine, but I have been on a few trips that Ed D. and Bill G. sponsored to their other mines and they are always fun.
