Burro Creek is about an hour away. You may want to touch bases with vwfence , I believe he lives in Kingman.

A few more followed me home from Tucson. Spent my annual rock budget yesterday, good thing the shows are wrapping up soon for the season. Namibian Shattuckite. Some OJ. A piece of African Purperite. Last piece is some African Pietersite. Need to get saws fired up soon.

I also use the horse laxative when I’ve had lots of dairy and meat. Straight from the saw. Works wonders. The stellar tastes just like Orange Juice. Taste more like Tang.

This found me yesterday in Q, 37# of fluorite. I've only had one piece of Flourite and it's awesome. What do you plan on doing with it? I originally planned to cut several 1/2" thick slabs and polish them as displays, along with a couple spheres. Now, I think I may just face polish the entire piece and at it to my display. Great question. Thx.

Almost everyone I know cannot stand the scent of Stellars orange cutting oil, in my opinion it is worse then automotive hydraulic fluids. The same guy that sells the Stellar also sells Bear Naked cutting oil, this is what I will typically buy when he or his vendors are selling at Q or Tucson. No scent and cuts well. The Hplapidary cutting oil is getting good reviews as well, I have not tried it yet.

When I was out in Quartzite a few weeks ago, there is young couple who works for the WCM selling at the QIA, they mentioned last year that they are starting to mine it again. Last year after searching 4 or 5 55gal drums I was able to find 3 high grade pieces, I was hoping to get a few more this year, they said they have so many mines to work, the AS was not one of them. I did manage to find one good piece after searching two 55 gal drums and a pallet full, the high grade is hard to find. If you buy online, get good pic's so will not be disappointed. Here is the piece I got a few weeks ago.

AzRockGeek . Those sure look huge!!! How did you get them home?? I wish they were HUGE, the total weight of everything was around 40 pounds. I wanted more Amy Sage, but there were only two dealers who had it , I went through a few pallets and some 55gal drums and only found 1 really good piece. I hit my budget with the opal from the Aussies, I will head back in a few weeks for the Pow Wow see if there is anything new.

If the oil on top of the sludge looks clean, just scrape out the sludge on the bottom with a putty knife.
Some people use old shop vacs to suck it out, I have never tried it.
Good luck.

OH, yeah, and a belt guard. Haha. The first things I remove from my saws. I have a few of the feed belt guards laying around.
