Go with the 33B. You can use the same barrell for prepolish and polish. You would only need to get one more barrell. With the 2 tumbler 33B you can get finished tumble in 1/2 the time once you get started.

Is there a special (trick) way of cutting Marble? My wife wanted some coasters for use in the living room and I found a large piece of Carrera Marble. When trying to slab it my slab saw would cut part way through and then would bind up and stop. Thought at first it was not being held in the vise solid enough and reset it and it cut for a little and then stopped. I put in large jasper slab and it when through it with no problem.Put the Marble back in and it cut a little and then stopped. What is the trick?

Check the belt and see if it aligned correctly and not to tight or loose. The belt on my 33b tends to stretch and finaly can't be adjusted tighter. New belt time.

For me it is the surprise and the job of seeing a plain old dull chunk of rock turn into a thing of beauty.

Yes it does. It is stripped where it clamps on the threaded rod.

Yes they are brass but both clamps arms are stripped pretty good. I don't know it there is enough left to rethread. I guess that all I can do is try that and if it doesn't work then try something else. It was suggested to take a nut of the right size and thread cut in half and braze the halfs to each arm. Can you braze steel to brass?

I bought a older 16' slab saw and it needs to be cleaned throughly. Can i use engine degreaser to clean the old oil and compacted oil and dust from the inside without doing any damage to it? Got a brand new Star diamond blade with it for $550.00. I think that it was good buy. The only problem that I see is the clamp arms for the auto feed are stripped but I think I can get brass brazed on it then re-thread it. Thanks for any help.

Looks great should make some nice cabs or if you are going to polish the slab it will be an outstanding piece.

Checked with my post office and they do not have the envelope back. I maybe should have sent it delivery confirmation but I didn't. I didn't even remember to take one of the pieces of Jade for myself. Hopefully it will turn up.
