That is just heartbreaking! At least they are big enough to salvage.

Amazing work! Especially the oval! I don't know how you cut the pieces so well for that one! What kind of glue did you use to join them? Keep up the great work!

The best part about slabbing is finding all the surprises inside after all the work of collecting. I think you have some to be proud of here! Looking forward to seeing what else you slab. Fran

Those are great! first looks like a quartzite to me but it may just be the photo. The second has a lot going on. Looks like the bottom of that will hold up better to cabbing than the top but then again, that is just from the photo. Both are really cool and your mother in law will love her gift! Fran

I think you both have a great deal! She will love a cab from that and how else would she get one? That will be a lot of great slabs! Fran

That one really looks cool and solid in between the natural openings in it. Should get some great cabs out of it. Fran

Cool Cab. I know what you mean about the shine. I have one I am working on that I just know it can get better but I just can't get it there. Keep up the great work!

Beautiful cabs! If I had to guess what your unknown green one is, I would guess soldier Canyon snakeskin out of Utah or Blue Horse Ranch Jasper out of Texas.
