With that mix of malachite/chrysocolla and gem silica, I am thinking it is from the Ray Mine. Nice score!!!
Not too far from the Blue Bird Mine.

The first one strikes me as being Blue Bird Azurite from the Blue Bird mine in Globe/Miami, the second one is probably some spider web variscite. All real nice pieces.

I was checking out the CB8 machine at the HP booth in Tucson last year, HP did a real nice job designing this machine. I am sure you will like it a lot.

There was a Craigslist post a few years back about some guy trying to sell a turquoise claim in that area. It was comical, the picture were so seeded with turquoise, it was laying around everywhere you looked.

Haha... I got that exact Slik saw, I assumed previous owners made the custom hood and other mods. Thanks for posting.

Terrific restore AzRockGeek ! That's sure to fetch a pretty penny. Thanks.... I think it actually belongs in some type of lapidary museum, it's such an odd saw.

Another one snuck its way into the queue. Picked this one up at an estate sale, an old Yanmar 4x4 diesel tractor, has not ran in years, got it fully functional, just a few minor issues with the four wheel drive in one of the front knuckles. I need to start getting these projects wrapped up before it gets HOT.

Sand the paint off the arbor with some Emory cloth, lubricate, loosen the set screw on pulley and remove pulley. The flanges bearing should have some set screws as well or a cap that twist on, same process.

Finally making progress again. Had to resolve a few issues with vise carriage, working better then new. Should be done in a day or two.

$50 minimum at 2-1/2" and $10 an inch over that. Truthfully though, the small ones are more difficult than the larger ones. Always give a stern warning about the possibility of breakage. This is just a starting point for discussion. I would rather make my own and sell them but I do some contract work. How many hours would you have into a 3.5" agate sphere with cubing, preforming, pre-grinding and actual time on a sphere machine?
