Beat my 307.8 with a 315.5
Gotta take a break here or change hands on the mouse. Anyone here know the symptoms of Carpel Tunnel Click Finger syndrome ?

Mel, If you aren't careful, you and I will both be on one of the governments watch lists for being anti something or another !

Some plastic exudes oil. I have had fair luck by pouring Alcohol into the grip and then pushing the darn thing on while it is still moist. If all else fails the Acetone or M.E.K. followed by Super Glue after it dries should get-er-done ! Even some of the higher priced tools have the cheezy type handles and they CAN be a REAL pain to work with.

Nice going, I only hit a 307.8
Probably would have done a lot better if they would drop one of our lying, thieving perverted and corrupt politicians off that Iceberg !

Man, That open door sure looks inviting ! I haven't quite reached my garage door as yet, the snow is about halfway between my waist and armpits on that end of the drive ! On the other end the snow was halfway up the grill on the wife's Blazer. A friend of mine sent me a picture of his drive. His white pickup has about 4 inches of snow stuck on the side of it from the wind blowing against it. He ( tagged ) the side with the snow, it reads in black paint :
Global warming ?---------- Kiss my A$$
It's parked in a snow drift that is level with the top of the bed on one end and the hood on the other .

Check out Mc-Master Carr for Diamond scribes. They come with several different angles on the Diamond points. I believe you have a choice of 3 different angles. They have a collet type pen they fit into and a soft plastic cap to protect the tip from damage. The wife uses them to do her scrimshaw work. They will work on glass, rock or hardened tool steel . I believe the cost for the pen and tip will be under $15.00 .

Get Tony and his angle grinder, then, get a pump to get water supply to boulder and then start Honda generator to run pump and grinder then polish it in situ .
NOOO PROBLEM !!!

The bottom is fairly flat and it appears to have some small flaking on the bottom edge. It may well be a scraper or similar tool, it is kind of hard to tell from a one angle pic.
Nothin beats a hands on touchie-feelie though !

Great idea you had there ! I am sure there will be more than one guy that's going to be entertained by the tumbler. Creating beauty in the midst of the confusion and the destruction going on there will be a welcome escape for him and his buddies !

That's a new one. Must be the global warming thingee on the East side of the Mississippi river ! The closer you get to Washington D.C. , the warmer it gets. Hot air commin from somewhere I suppose !
Right now in Iowa you would need a snow-suit and then you wouldn't sweat much !

Just received a large flat rater from JCINPC . It contained 2 great looking Coral heads and the rest of the box was jammed full of heat-treated spalls ready for knapping ! If the dear wife will stop adding to the Honey-do list I just might get to sit down one of these nights and get to play with some of it !
Great looking material, thanks J.C.

Sounds like you are having a great time out there. Wish I could be there because there isn't anything more enjoyable to me than walking corn or bean rows looking for artifacts !

Tony,
A Knapper on the Knappers-R-Us Forum was looking for Midnight Lace, I posted your E-Mail over there . He wanted some uncut rough.

Hold up a bank with a gun and you get an automatic minimum time to serve . The same should hold true for I.D. theft ! The powers that be are doing their best to force us to do EVERYTHING electronically as it makes it easier to keep track of every aspect of our lives. How about big brother worrying about the predators out there in cyberland and quit snooping into the lives of the rest of us !
My .02 cents

If I found something like that in my car, I would hook it to a small battery and send it to Bernie & Claudia in Patagonia. If they would drive around with it for a couple months down there it would REALLY mess with his head !
I DO pay cash !

I am going to the hardware store this afternoon and check if Ace handles it.
Might have me a pair of those a$$le$$ chaps YET ! The HOT pink doesn't work for me but, a mixture of earth shades will better highlight my SKIN tones !

The Gene pool should have ended there, it's too bad the fool took two others with him.
Next photo will show a bunch of lawyers lined up to sue Honda motors because they built a bike capable of those speeds and sold it to an individual without requiring an I.Q. test first !
