Resist the urge to price your cabs too low; it brings the whole market down. How much did you spend on material? How much did you spend on equipment? How much on supplies? How much is your time worth? I would also not sell cabs that are below your standards because it will reflect negatively on your skills and reduce future sales. You might take a look around this site for examples of high quality cabs (design, materials, and finish) for ideas: www.samsilverhawk.com/gems1.htmlChuck

That's good news, John! Jack was a big help to me when I started tumbling. Glad to hear he's on the mend.

I completely understand, Daniel! Looks like you have enough to use as is and some to play with.

I'm with Mario. I have a swing arm lamp with a broken clamp, so I just screwed a block of wood with a hole in it to my desk. I use an OTT light in my lamp; plenty bright and color correct.

I use a Rock Rascal and have never had a problem with spray. You can run it at high speed with a thin blade for trimming opal, but I'd use a thicker blade for agate.

As my grandfather used to say, "pretty as a picture puzzle".
Personally, I like the larger photos. Easier on the eyes.

Congrats!
Yep, a fountain pump is the ticket. Pet stores (e.g. Petsmart) sometimes carry them.

I won't be going, but here is the current state of collecting areas, as far as I know: Woodward Ranch - guided collecting only; ranch is for sale; Stillwell Ranch - still just 50 cents/pound; lots of moss agate, some pet wood, lots of chert Teri at Antelope Lodge in Alpine arranges guided collecting on private ranches; picked up a hundred pounds at a Marfa ranch last year

Lee,
Looks nice! How did you fasten the corners?
Phil's solution is a really good one. I had shelves collapse and break my 10" cover, so before I build a new cover, I might give the storage bin a shot if I can find one the right size.

A Thumler UV-10. I use a UV-18 and it's too big for my needs. It takes _a lot_ of rock to keep it fed.
