Ah ah Herm -
My Captain Picard - the Radical space roving rabbit - will show you different. He and Commander Data have seen the light, and beyond.
He has wisdom of years beyond us, and (he will be angry at exposing his hat aswell probably) for the good of rabbitkind, he will persevere.
You mere mortal tinheads should watch out for my Captain. He sees all.

Phoenix - the Rabbits will sort you out tomorrow.
They will indeed help you on your way with the twirly receiver.
They are ALL KNOWING AND ALL SEEING.
And NOTHING - but NOTHING gets past them.

LOL - I have consulted my rabbits
(Their names/titles are)
1. Data - Commander 2. Picard - Captain
It is dark here at the moment, but they will be prepared for a photo shoot tomorrow.
A rabbit thought is worth 10,000 signals from an unknown source.
Cling to the CENTER of the universe.

The Floyd calls the Doc.
His teeth are no more.
His head - full of passion - yearns to release the lesser soul and make it more AWARE of that which is around him - and indeed the lesser souls.
The COLD bites hard, but not on his head where the TIN ALSO REFLECTS COLD.
DEATH AWAITS YE ALL WITH NASTY BIG POINTY TEETH.
Kickahaaa - my shin.
And in the near future Andromeda Smashes the Milky Way, but all is not lost - until we reach the Virgo Super Cluster of course.....................
Thy tin hats will protect thee from the blackness no more than a shanty wooden shack protected Dorothy from the storm.
However Ruby shoes may help one pass the canyon.
I shall refrain my own tin hat.
Mark.

I think its fine. John is correct (well everyone is ) I say "Each to their own" - dont grind it away, it is how it is, and it looks great to me. Nice item from my point of view. I like the middle chunk, sharp edged and makes a statement. Gets my vote anyways.

Cheers for the compliments, when you say update the photo archives - do you mean on rth.com?

Cheers all. Momma, the Blue Lace has done 6 recharges of 80 grit at 4 days per charge. Then 7 days at 220, and another 7 days at 400. The polish ended up at 5 days in Tin Oxide (3 would have done I think). 69Beeps - Cheers, the other three piles of rock were a gift from WilliamC who comes round here now and then, not sure if he's still tumbling (probably is as it cant be stopped!!). Cookie3Rocks - Big Red sounds like its working well now, yup - give them some wellie for more time at 80!! I'd be interested in seeing some pics of large chunks of finished Blue Lace when done. Sandsman - Blue Ice - Please Vote now LOL Llanago - Showed the fireplace as sometimes people write in wondering what to do with the finished stones, I think they look good there, so its an idea for anyone pondering maybe. Got some green aventurine in at the moment, a very large chunk (actually ooooppps down to about 2 inches long now from about 5 (grimace ) but that needs more time. It was a prezzie from mum when she went away on hols last year. Decided I liked the Blue Lace in both shape and colour so I think I'll get some more this week and do 2 barrels worth (thats about 6LB for me). Also - I still have a grudge about TigerEye and need more of that. Those pics of bearcreeks have proved yet again that my efforts with TigerEye are indeed in need of a revisit!

cleaned up for the shoot? lol laughing here doc, me and the missus try and keep things tidy(ish) - I make the mess with barrels and rough all over the place.
The little tubs of grit all over the show - far apart to keep them from cross contamination - get us down the most.

Finally finished it, and totally proud of it. It won't polish better unless I re-600 it and TOxide it, but its out now and I reckon its looking good in its place. Probably the best blue lace ive ever done (it can be chippy and pitted etc). Decided not to wait for sunshine to take the pics, as thats about 3 months away!!

KD, great looking stone.
Ok, I'll say "Intrusion" - as I think thats the geological name for magma rising through strata.
Nice - "Subcutaneous" comes to mind, but Ill stick with the former.
Nice work again.

Let us know. Or - are other peoples images dissapearing too? Cheers Andy.
